I don't think I poo pooed it, in fact I liked it IIRC (could be wrong). But now, at least for me, it makes all the sense in the world. We get a rental+ who really solidifies a position that has been a bit of a nightmare, and Biggio can be used where he adds more value, plugging holes everywhere. And, as a bonus, it lets the kids mature in the minors a little more and gets rid of Panik. Seattle, while overperforming, isn't really a contender. Maybe we could grab Seager for a couple of B prospects? No idea what the trade world will be like this year.
