    I agree that Merrifield should be our everyday starting 2b or rotating in the OF. However, with the short porch in left, they probably want as many LHB as possible..

    Charlotte is banking and they have a huge tech hub in Raleigh Durham. Charlotte also has a lot of NASCAR and all the associated builders/tech etc

    Not sure which data you are using. Charlotte has surpassed San Fransisco in size and is booming. Portland not so much.

    Almost a 7 hr drive from Nashville to Charlotte. Almost a 5 hr drive from Atlanta to Charlotte. Charlotte is much bigger than Portland or SLC. I believe Charlotte and Nashville can support teams and still be plenty of market left for the Braves.

    I personally know CFOs/COOs whom after visiting Portland recently have said no way in hell they are investing or building new sites etc in the city. The homeless situation among other things is out of control. Portland is also too close to Seattle. Nasvhville and Charlotte are the front runners

    These are the games that later in the season don’t show the pen blowing it, because we never had the lead. However, a game where we lost the ability to win due to the pen.

    The most fun I have ever had at Jays games was when I was a bleacher creature, much, much younger at both Exhibition stadium and the Skydome. Now, in my more refined age, I have zero patience for those sections, seats are too tight, too far from the field etc.. So hard no. I really don't think the $10K CDN for the new clubs is that bad. Works out to like $129 game which these days is good. I am going to Boston for work the week of May 1st.. The Jays vs Boston happened to coincide with a work trip, wink, wink... I expect to get bent over for tickets even though the Red Sox aren't that good this year... I am also going to see the Jays play the Marlins in Miami in June, that was over $250 USD for the Marlins' park.. Also going to Oakland vs the Jays in September, even at that s***** and empty stadium it cost me about $200 for the family for tickets. None of the above prices include parking, food, beer, etc, etc..

    In this case yes. Romano had to get 4 outs for the first time this year. I would rather have to get 4 outs against 6, 7, 8 and 9 vs 1-4.
