  1. Why, Rowdy had some big hits, was fun to watch, was in the middle of a lot of comebacks and wins, played some decent 1b, brought a lot of energy to the team and seems like a Blue collar lunch bucket guys the fans could get behind.. Smoak has some value now.. What if he regresses more or gets hurt.. Another JD situation and we get nothing and have him taking up space on a team not destined for much this year...
  2. I am confused, are you talking about next season as in 2020, or 2019?
  3. Rule 5... If not on MLB roster we have to return.
  4. "By the day I turned 18 in 1945, I had already stormed the beaches of Normandy, killed 2 Nazis with my bare hands and another with my can opener (They were a thing back then). Today's generation is a bunch of pussys! This generation is worried about throwing a ball 90ft for millions of dollars.. Oh boo hoo, I was worried about staying alive and keeping my 2 balls attached to my scrotum for 90ft at a time for $15 dollars a month plus .75 cents hazardous duty pay. - Some old guy- (might have been TheHurl, not sure).
  5. Clarify good? Like when he had one big game in a series against the Wizard that padded his stats or a few years ago our only win against Cleveland? Or the games where we were close and then he turned the ball over repeatedly or couldn't make a layup or 3 point shot to save his life.. Or the games where we were BLOWN out and neither him nor Derozan or JV showed up..
  6. So much envy and jealously on this board. That is ok, I know it is difficult for many of you to get a girl or girls plural to come over and eat pussy when you live in your mom's basement. I am secure in my excellent quality and selection of pussy, just as I am in my belief that Romano will prove you guys wrong.
  7. Appears speculative only... He is still a Mariner, and there was no agreed upon exchange (that we are aware of) as part of the three team deal.
  8. You are what you eat...Not wink wink.
  9. You probably offended someone with this post (not me) but probably someone. Well, he stated in the same post that it kinda sucked to lose Bergen. So, he has Bergen as a higher value then Romano, but a major league team values Romano higher?? We are also talking apples and apples.. Both are pitchers.. It would be one thing if one were an pitcher and was a need for the WhiteSox the other an IF and SP was not a need for the Giants. Basically the results of the draft show that a MLB team and their scouting department value Romano higher than Bergen and many other pitchers, yet we are upset about Bergen (Valid) but not Romano...?
  10. You and the Terminator will regret this.... He went 3rd overall in a pretty deep Rule 5 draft... and was picked before Bergen. There is value there...Too bad I am not a betting fiend like some on the board. I would make you guys a little side bet;)
  11. Glad EE is not going to the Rays, I have a feeling he would destroy us if we saw him 18-19 games a year..
  12. The scouting report says you are a switch hitter... also..
  13. We are in total a agreement again my friend... Don't get all excited and ask me out. I am taken and I think you and Dr. Dinger would be a much better fit.
  14. They just had Brody Von ( I am in a Boy band) Von Brody on MLB TV. If they dont' land Reamulto, sounds like Martin would be a very good fit. Get er done Atkins! Here is hoping JT doesn't go to the Mets.
  15. Buck Martinez is that you? I once played a drinking game where I took a shot every time Buck Martinez said the word, "interesting". Needless to say, I passed out face first in the three layer bean dip by the bottom of the 1st. Not one of my finer moments...
  16. Must be a Derozan fan boy also.. Not interested in regluar season wonders. I want playoff performers and winners.
  17. That is because you have to be able to get it up Jimbo before you can jizz...
  18. Wait, so it was P2F??? I am confused, I just committed Hari Kari on the board because I thought I was wrong? It sure looks like he said it in your link..
  19. Ok, I am going to fall on my sword here and apologize profusely, I screwed up and thought it was you. My bad. Here yee, here yee, let it be known P2F did NOT say we are going to bring back JB and or EE. I f***ed up. In the example of Boxcar, I am going to allow 12 hrs (because my screw up was only half as bad) of free insult without retort. Starting now. Again, P2F I apologize. However, I am still right about Tulo!
  20. Aren't you the guy on here saying the Jays are going to go after JB and or EE... That is the most nonsensical thing I have heard in a long time. The Jays run differential was Huge (in the positive) as the Donald would say, in 2015, yet we were 2 games below .500... Why? Tulo gave us plus D at a key position and saved a lot of runs, brought a hell of a lot of leadership, motivation, poise to the team. He also got some huge hits down the stretch and in the ALDS. Everyone laughing, please tell me what magical switch was flipped between 1st half 2015 vs 2nd Half... When did the win streak start?? It was the first game Tulo played. They lost the first game after the Tulo deal to Philly, a s*** team, Tulo was not in the line up, and then when Tulo landed, they, won, and won and won. Price was only part of that. The Jays do not go as far as they did without Tulo in 2015. Period!
  21. The Jays were 2 games below .500 before Tulo. Price could only pitch every 5 days. Ask yourself what changed on the roster, D (EXTREMELY important), was it slap hitting Ben Revere...? What was the difference between the roster before the trade deadline. and after? Tulo had a lot of big hits during the run, helped the pitching staff immensely, he motivated the team and gave them a huge boost. Look at the record after the trade.. Why, what happened? What changed?
  22. They are discussing this on MLB radio.com.. It makes perfect sense what the Jays are doing and they laid out the positive and negatives. I am agree with their consensus, this is a good move for the club.
  23. Absolutely wrong, I am sorry, but with all due respect you are very, very wrong on this. NO WAY the Jays win the AL East or the ALDS without Tulo.
  24. We would have never had 2015, 2016 without Tulo. What do the fans care, they want the team to spend money, they did. It worked, the back end was part of the deal, can't get something for nothing. We could have had Reyes and been paying a shitload and never have gotten to the ALDS.
  25. Whoaa just saw this! Well that is one way to go...
