  1. You got me good on this one..
  2. Looking at today's lineup (tentative). That is a hell of a lot of K potential 1-4... I don't think I really like that mix...Nor the lineup in general today.. We shall see... 1. Grichuk RF 2. Pillar CF 3. Hernandez LF 4. Tellez 1B 5. Drury 3B 6. Morales DH 7. LGjr 2B 8. Galvis SS 9. Maile C
  3. Yea my bad, my phone won't allow me to spell check on this site for some reason.. Thanks for keeping the spelling honest, it is a valuable service you are providing...
  4. Your telling me that my perception since I was a child that these were made by Eskimos in Canada is wrong.... Dude, this is like telling a kid Santa Clause doesn't exist.... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Eskimo-Pie-Dark-Chocolate-Frozen-Dairy-Dessert-15-oz-6-count/13281707
  5. Looks like Paulino and Giles got a little heated doing some defensive drills... Latino rook vs. Gringo Veteran.. Begin! https://www.sportsnet.ca/ Shades of Papelbon.. I like This is one example where to Stroman's point some veteran presence is needed..
  6. I would be happy to buy you a beer also.. Hold the dick sandwich- Check.
  7. With only 28 players, not sure if you get to see all of: Davis, Alford, Tellez, Rowdy, Paulino, Lieter, Berti. I left Jansen, D. Smith, and a few others off due to they were/would have been up regardless. This year we should have many more legit guys I would like to see have a cup of coffee in September.. I enjoyed seeing those last guys last Sept, even if some are very fringe...
  8. (September rosters, meanwhile, will shrink from 40 to 28 (with a 14-pitcher maximum) Not sure if I like this one... I agree I don't like 7 pitcher changes per inning.. However, I do enjoy the Pinch Hitters, Pinch Runners, Defensive replacements etc and getting to see a lot of our young/minors guys..
  9. Why do you keep blaming Boxy for me being here? Boxy to his credit appreciates diversity of opinion on the board. You should man the f*** up and take care of your own issues (of which there are many) and stop calling for Boxy like a child calling for his mommy. What do expect Boxy to do? You have told me to eat a dick so many times, it must be good! I suspect it tastes like chicken, dog, Gator, Iguana, dick, they are all the same, tastes like chicken. It is also 2019, what is wrong with eating dick if that is your thing.. I see you looked up a big word.. You could have just said cave man, or dinosour, seems to be the go to expression on this board. Poser.. ??? This one has me scratching my head. What in the wide wide world of sports am I trying to pose as on this board?? When you wake up from your drunk stupor around noon and read this, I said good morning. PS: If I get to meet you at a Jays game this year. First beer is on me, I think we could have fun shouting insults at Angel Hernandez together, and I will happily share some of my dick sandwich.
  10. I actually agree with and like both. I think MLB got these two right
  11. The diffences between you and me are that when I drink, I am a happy go lucky guy, who likes to joke and I like to chase pussy. You just like to chase some guy on a message board around and make degragortory comments after every one of my posts. I guess I would also have pent up anger if I was some drunk Newfy hoser. At least I can contribute to intelligent discussion in forums and topics outside of baseball. Pasting links to articles that have been on Sportsnet for a day half or LOL, your dumb or your arsenal of memes doesn’t count for much. I make my case on this board, whether it is bat s*** crazy wrong or right, I make my case and lay out an argument. You are the king of shallow on this board. You are a few steps higher in intelect then my toddler son, because you can cut and paste. I have never seen a well thought out substantive argument or opinion from you once on this board. You are basically the BJMB clown/town drunk. Take a look in the reflecion of your bottle of Mad dog 20/20 you are drinking if you want to see what an idiot looks like. After all that, the truth is, I actually still kind of like you. I said good night!
  12. Are you a product of the Canadian education system??
  13. There is no one on this board who would be happier then me if Jansen won ROY.. I heart Jansen. TOTALLY semantics: However, with a player in Jansen's situation there is usually a caveat when they are in the majors as an everyday players and they are being described: Rookie, Rookie Sensation, Former #1 ranked prospect in the Braves system, was a 1st round pick playing his first year in the majors.. I don't think you would hear commentators announcing the Blue Jays starting lineup for opening day, say; catching today, is Blue Jays prospect Danny Jansen... You would hear, Blue Jays Rookie, or First year starting catcher/player etc... I think he has shed the prospect title and deservedly so.. Now get over there and shine my shoes ROOK!
  14. Did you feel left out and like you didn't matter in the 90's? It was a great decade man, El President getting BJs in the oval office, Tech boom, Blue Jays won a couple of World series.. There was still 25 cent draft night at the bars..
  15. If a guy is your starting catcher come opening day, is he really still a prospect?
  16. The capitalist in me agrees with you.. However, the last part in the Major League Baseball Players Association is also spelled UNION, so I don't see it ever happening.
  17. I have actually been on a low-carb diet for almost a year.. I can get away with nuts, but only Coke Zero etc... No regular soda.. I only drink Whiskey (no-carbs) and the occasional low-carb beer. I guess if I am really worried about my health, I should be more like Canadians and eat Poutine covered in globs of gravy for sport, chug real maple syrup daily and drink beer with nothing less then 6.5% alcohol.. Oh!, and Eskimo Ice Cream Bars, since they were invented by the Canadian Eskimo..
  18. Dude, I am no cheapskate, but $7 is a lot for a bag of peanuts here in America.. I can go to Texas Road House 5 mins away from my house and eat barrels and barrels of peanuts for free... and free refill on my sodas!! Of course I understand that due to the perma freeze of the tundra in Canada, you are not able to grow your own peanuts.. Then you have import taxes, GST, PST, probably need an inspection tax to make sure the peanuts are gender neutral or representative of females, and indigenous groups.. Then the manufacture has to re-package them with French wording and probably change the American English to the Queens English.. Actually, now that I think of it.. $7 Cdn or ($2.25 USD) is not that bad a price for a bag of peanuts after all that.. My bad...
  19. See! Olerud just made my case for me... This should be on Fangraphs! Finally I am getting some support around here. Thanks man!
  20. Love 1-7 in today's line-up!
  21. Don't think they would take that in lieu of guaranteed money.. There are only probably a handful of players who could probably make more on a % of merchandise vs having a fixed amount negotiated in their salary.
  22. As much as I have been an advocate of the Young Guns, Alford and supported some of your baseball positions.... Some scouts report based on ST performance is not a vindication of anything..
  23. Not a Coors fan... However, if you talk that way about Miller Lite, we will be having a Royal Battle!
