    I thought Springer filled the role of Donaldson the other day. However, it seems like we need a Donaldson to get this s*** in check. There are some reminders of the 2013 Blue Jays on this team and I want to see more of the 2015 Blue Jays..

    I have long term faith in Zach Thompson. I still have him in some leagues tried to keep him in others leagues but he fell victim to the roster crunch and his poor outings to start the year. Still think he will be good long term with high Ks, K/Bb etc if you can roster him.

    So in a 20 Team H2H Off board Dynasty league I am in I made a fairly significant trade today. I am 15th out of 20 this year even though I made the playoffs last year. I thought it was time to do a reboot, I am not into full rebuilds. I wanted to bounce this trade off you guys before I did it, but one of the guys in the league reads this board. However, trade is done now. To set some context, I had Bryant for 3b but he is just hurt so much. I have Cron at 1b, but the cupboard is bare at 3b now and at 1b if Cron is out. I traded Cole for Austin Riley, Josh Naylor and Daniel Lynch.. I still don’t know what to think to be honest.. Thoughts… ?

    I don’t know about this whole ball thing. These are some of the scores from Sunday’s games. Cardinals 15 -6 over the Giants Astros 8-0 over the Nationals Padres 7-3 over the Braves Mariners 8-7 over the Mets Brewers 7-3 over the Marlins Rangers 7-1 over the Red sox Tigers 5-1 over the Orioles Yankees 5-1 over the White Sox Maybe it is us and not all the other reasons thrown around here as to why we are losing.

    Highlights a huge difference between Dynasty leagues and others... I don't think anyone in Dynasty would even consider for half a second dropping Semien over Segura on May 12th in a 162 game season... Hence, I like Dynasty and the strategic thinking vs redraft leagues etc which I don't play anymore.. That is just me though...

    This bitching about dead ball and stadiums is getting old. We have the same opportunities and it wasn’t a dead ball on a hanging slider that should have been a fast ball last night in the 9th. Then running or stumbling your way out of an inning with Kirk.. That is where anger should be directed..

    They scored 5 runs and 2 against the best BP in baseball. I think we need to work on and execute our run prevention.

    At least we were in a situation where we had to make him throw. Too many times in that situation late in a game guys would K etc. Glad we had Kirk up and that situation is why I would rather Tapia over Grichuk.
