  1. Im hoping they can turn this around. This 6 man rotation nonsense should have never happened. Those two look like different pitchers.. Estrada is hurt but with Happ I have no idea. I hope he turns this around tomorrow.
  2. 89 for 1st WC, 88 for 2nd WC, 91 for division If I had to guess. At this point I dont care where we finish, all I want is playoff baseball, Id be happy with a wildcard game. If we can go .500 the last 22 games we should get there. The Yankees would need to go 13-9. Orioles and Tigers 12-10. The Yankees have 7 left vs Boston, 3 vs the Dodgers and 3 vs Baltimore. On paper we have a slight advantage schedule wise. If we can somehow win tomorrow and Sunday, have a good series against Tampa and a good road trip we could still win the division.
  3. He couldn't even run 43 hours ago.
  4. Martin is hurt and to be fair, the eye test says Navarro has been pretty good at the plate recently.
  5. He was likely out by a couple hundreds of a second but there is in no way conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field going by what I've seen this year imo
  6. Our offence certainly hasn't performed as well as it should have, on paper at least, but would you have have the same view two weeks ago? We are slumping. There is a good chance we break out of this. Let's hope by some miracle we sweep the Red Sox
  7. Sox showing how to manufacture runs
  8. The lowly Padres bottom of the order showing how it's done
  9. You have got to be f***ing kidding me!!!!!!!!!
  10. Holy s***, can't believe we got him for free.
  11. That's f***ing inconclusive
  12. Damn didn't realize it was that high
  13. Agree can't ask for much more, 2 runs gives any competent offence a chance to win. He has had a little bit of bad babip too
  14. Seems like that's happened about 3-4 times tonight.
  15. There are several teams that have "what it takes to win it all".
  16. lol your going to blame those guys if we dont win it all? Give me a break. Yes this team hasnt performed up to the expectation of last year but they are still what, 3rd in the league in runs scored. Making the playoffs let alone winning the world series isnt easy, even if you have the best team, especially in the AL East.. thats baseball. Some of those guys havent played well but what did you want the FO to do? Its not easy to just go out and acquire good players and unload them... The FO has done a decent job
  17. Im looking to buy tickets for ALDS home games 1 and 2, will pay 2x face depending on where they are. PM me.
  18. We still have an .82x probability of making the post season. The closer we get to game 162 the importance of each game increases. This weekend is going to be huge. The Jays vs Red Sox and Baltimore vs Detroit. I just hope we come out on the right side of this. Maybe that tough loss last night will energize this team.
  19. The odds are based on thousands of simulations for the remainder of the season. Obviously these cant predict winning or losing streaks (like the one we are on) accurately but most of the simulations will end up around the same winning percentage by the end of the season that we have now. Our odds have dropped because the probability that we lost 4 of 5 to Tampa and New York was fairly low. I think for the in-game odds they base it on historical data. The Astros were up 6-2 heading into the 8th, thats a pretty big deficit to overcome with only 6 outs remaining.
  20. lol that would shut up all the haters on here.
  21. You forgot the part where we beat the Cubs in 7 in the WS. Walk off solo hr.
  22. Our offence wasn't that bad tonight. On another day that ball gets by Headley at 3rd, bautistas and smoaks shots don't get held up by wind...
  23. The Sox went 5-7 their last 12 games. They scored 1 run in their past 2 games. Wouldn't say they are on a tear....
  24. Everything is tightening up including the wild card. This was the toughest loss of the season imo, September and the fact that the lead was back and forth. On a different day with no wind those Bautista and Smoak shots were home runs.
