    Its its Baltimore Id rather have Sanchez and Happ piggyback. Problem is the way things line up, Happ is supposed to go on Saturday. He could be skipped if we clinch WC1 by then but we all have seen how the pitching staff performs with extra rest.

    Looking at the way things line up for Tuesday. Sanchez to the 3rd time through the lineup and a very short leash and then Stroman

    Verlander is a K machine and we strike out alot. Hopefully the Tigers will be forced to use Verlander on Sunday and the Os forced to use their bullpen heavily on the weekend.

    Well they better figure something out because right now I dont have alot of confidence in our bullpen and 6 innings of Brach, Oday and Britton is scary.

    Maybe the Jays would be open to burning 2 starters, say Sanchez for 4-5, Stroman for 3-4, Cecil if we need a lefty out and Osuna for 4 or 5 outs etc

    Im just not sure which Estrada we would get, he hasnt been consistent the last couple of months because of his back. It would be taking a risk putting a flyball pitcher out there at Rogers center vs the HR mashing Os imo

    Happ or Sanchez vs Baltimore, Sanchez vs the RHH Detroit. He has really good splits vs RHH. 3 HR, 19 BB, 29 ER in 93.2 IP vs RHH. Against LHP Baltimore sports a .692 OPS

    Stroman needs to shut his mouth and let his pitching do the talking, especially after what happened last night.

    It was so stupid. All because of a grazed elbow pad. We handed the game to them and all this a day before the most important series of the year. You think the Yankees are going to do everything they can to win those games against the Os coming up.. not anymore. Why leave it until game 155 to do this. They should have done it when Tulo got hit in the hand, which was probably done on purpose.

    Talk about a knee-jerk reaction. He has been pretty good since we got him. We are going to need to use him since we lost Benoit tonight to that idiocy

    Bad loss tonight. Two games in a row with blown saves in the 9th. Possible injuries to Benoit and Travis thanks to some stupidity. Had the chance to put a stranglehold on the WC, now we could be heading to a Red Sox series tied with Baltimore who are likely to make cannon fodder of the Yankees in their own series

    Stupid thing to do when the Yankees have nothing to lose and are going to be using several pitchers and we can't afford to have any injuries or suspensions.

    I think the Yankees are done, they realistically need to go at minimum 8-2, maybe even 9-1. We also hold the tie-breaker over Detroit and Houston. Provided we win one game against the Yankees and Orioles we will hold the tie-breaker with them also (If we cant win at least one against both of them we wouldnt make the post-season anyway. My predictions. Jays go 5-5 and finish 88-74 Baltimore goes 5-4 and finishes 87-75 Detroit goes 6-4 and finishes 88-74 Houston goes 6-3 and finishes 87-75 Seattle goes 6-4 and finishes 86-76 Jays play Detroit in the WC game at Home.

    Dickey has absolutely nothing to do with the loss yesterday. He came in and looked to have good control and managed to take the loss despite not giving up a single hit or walk.

    Pillar in all likelihood wasn't going to do it either. He fought off pitches with 2 strikes and we got unlucky on that drive

    Give the guy a break, how many hits does he have this series? Travis had another chance at it and had a terrible at bat.
