    It doesnt make sense, assuming "A" is the better seed. Replacing "A" with "C" would be better.

    Upton has been a bit better at the plate recently and had 2 homers last weekend vs RHP in Cleveland. IMO the marginal upgrade at the plate Smoak brings is negated by the fact Upton has speed and he has none. Putting Smoak DH also means putting both Saunders and Bautista in the outfield. 2B Travis RF Bautista 3B Donaldson 1B EE C Martin SS Tulo DH Saunders LF Upton CF Pillar

    I'm at work, Donaldson wasn't in the starting lineup... Why is he in? Last minute change or injury?

    After their series with the Tigers, the Red Sox next 10 games consist of 7 vs Tampa and 3 against KC. This was a game that we should not have lost. Osuna was due for a blown save and has been lights out for the vast majority of the season. Saunders should have had that ball, he didnt have to jump.. its a routine play for an MLB right fielder. Yes Upton should have been backing him up but 99% of the time a long high hit flyball in that situation either leaves the park or is caught. I hope we dont look back seven weeks from now at this loss being the turning point.

    Agreed, he should only be used in low leverage situations. I think he has been lucky so far and I don't have much confidence in him. I hope Feldman can replicate the form he showed against the Yankees.
