They have scored only .29/game more than us, 4.94 vs 4.65, yet they are 23 games above .500, the Jays are 4 above. Jays are 8-13 in one run games, Rangers 17-5!

So what happens if Hutch comes up and gets blown up two starts in a row? Whats the consensus on calling up Wade Leblanc instead? He does have a 1.51 ERA through 13 starts. Maybe the better option is to put Chavez into the rotation as he has been solid recently. We play 19/24 games at home in July and although the sample size isnt large, Sanchez has been better on the road. He has 3 starts left this month which should push him upto ~ 105 innings. Maybe they shut him down at the end of the month... If we could get Cecil back and have him regain his form from last year our bullpen would look pretty good.

Rangers fans are sore losers and I cant believe how butt-hurt they are over a bat flip. Had a customer at work today, an older Texas Ranger fan from Texas who works up here now. Got into an argument with him. Him: Bautista should have gotten more games, that was a dirty slide, hes such a dirty player, everyone in the league hates him. Me: The slide was late but it was spikes down, hands down and he slid through the bag, he wasnt attempting to injure Odor. Have you seen some of the slides Odor has done in the past? Him: Blah blah blah, Canadians dont understand baseball, they should stick to hockey. Throwing beer bottles on the field. They didnt even understand the ball was live when Odor scored in the top of the 7th and they hit a baby.
