  1. I think this one is going to hurt for the rest of my years on this planet. 💔
  2. Yeah with the Jays failing to score in the 9th it's kind of broken me.
  3. I'm legit having a hard time watching now. Trying to stay positive but it's rough right now.
  4. Goddamn guy went two full months with no home runs allowed and chose game 7 of the world series to cough up a dinger to the #9 hitter.
  5. Man I hope all these stranded baserunners don't come back to haunt the team.
  6. Hey there Grant, I see you wasted little time in making a new account. There was no gaslighting. You had a complete meltdown and literally said that the intentional walk cost the Blue Jays the world series and was the worst managerial decision in team history. The Dodgers still would have scored 2 runs without the extra base runner and won the game 2-1 instead of 3-1. The intentional walk didn't cause Gausman to allow 3 hard hit balls in the inning, and those hard hit balls are the reason the Dodgers scored.
  7. That's a lot of left handed bats at the bottom of the lineup and would make it easy for Roberts to deploy the 4 lefty relievers in his pen.
  8. I was really surprised that he caught that ball as I was certain it was a base hit.
  9. This is painfully true. Gimenez made outs on balls in plays with xBA's of .710, .660 and .390.
  10. This is what he sent me earlier in the season: f*** off 2 members active in this conversation (including you) max silver Read: Just now Grant77 Read: July 30 Grant77 652 Started conversation: July 28 I referenced statcast range in the very first post that you responded to. You won't make any friends by being an insufferable nitwit. Don't bother responding, you're blocked.
  11. The next two hitters didn't reach base because Ohtani was intentionally walked.
  12. This guy has completely lost his mind. Gausman had a bad inning where he allowed 3 hard hit balls including a pair of doubles, but the reason that the Dodgers scored 3 runs is somehow due to the single baserunner that was put on base intentionally and had nothing to do with the hard contact.
  13. Are you a real human being with the outlandish hot takes? Did you suddenly forget how Ohtani basically single handedly allowed the Dodgers to come back in game 3? Good grief man this you are so wrong here it's almost impossible to fathom.
  14. LMAO, we can always count on you for the most out there takes on the game situations.
  15. He didn't have a great game at the plate but I fail to see how a single tough game means he shouldn't be on the team next year, that's just a bunch of hyperbolic nonsense. I'd like to see Varsho and Barger swapped in the order for game 7 for sure though.
  16. Really? Gausman gave up several hard hit doubles in that inning. It was an easy decision to walk Ohtani and it took a really lucky Betts ground ball sneaking through the shift for them to score 2 of the runs.
  17. How did Varsho kill the Blue Jays rally in the 9th? Did I miss something?
  18. Yeah the difference came down a softly Mookie ground ball sneaking through the infield and a ball lodging under the outfield padding. FFS.
  19. Yeah that was an awful unproductive out. I think if he even hit a soft grounder to the right side they probably score a run with a runner on third base.
  20. I seriously doubt that. This is easily the most resilient Blue Jays team I've watched in my 35+ years of fandom.
