  1. Was he though? Manoah made a lot better pitches to my eyes and generally displayed a lot better command.
  2. Best to get Manoah out of there anyway but that's a bad look on Schneider to not realize it's the second mound visit of the inning.
  3. Yeah time to go to Mayza asap the way this inning is unfolding.
  4. Oh my apologies I didn't realize you were using stat nerds as a term of endearment. Carry on then.
  5. How is the air quality there? It's positively awful in Calgary today.
  6. Wow great knucklehead post. Why in the world you felt the need to take a shot at "stat nerds" is beyond me. All of us are obviously frustrated with the team's inability to deliver with RISP so no need to take potshots.
  7. That pretty much sums up Springer's season so far.
  8. Yeah the strike zone for Alek is huge so far. It's called high and wide on both sides of the plate so far.
  9. Vladdy just missed making a spectacular play.
  10. Lots of rockets finding their way into opposition gloves lately.
  11. Nice play by Bo to end the inning. To my eyes he's been much better at short this season.
  12. One out away from escaping the inning unscathed.
  13. Yeah it has to have been awful to say the least. They've largely been embarrassed so far by everybody in the AL East save for the Rays.
  14. That's just the thing, it doesn't seem fair to blame a catcher when only one of Manoah's pitches has been garnering good results. According the Statcast the only positive value pitch for Manoah right now is his two seamer. His expected stats shows Manoah has been pretty fortunate so far this year so switching catchers is not likely to be some sort of panacea.
  15. Varsho looks to have been switched with Belt in the order. We shall see if this is a longer term thing or just a single game based on the matchup. Jansen catching Manoah is an interesting switch, but unless he can allow Manoah to regain an effective slider and iron out his command issues I don't know if it will ultimately matter much.
  16. It shouldn't be that hard to understand why it gets tiresome for someone to constantly gush over the opposition. It's was annoying as f*** when Buck and Pat would constantly fawn over Derek Jeter. If you aren't an Oilers fan it gets old fast having a national NHL broadcast constantly drooling about how good Conner McDavid is. You are doing exactly the same thing.
  17. How am I the dumb one? I'm not the poster who is fixated on constantly praising the opposition. It has become readily apparent there is nary a peep from you when the team is playing well, but as soon as they hit a bit of a rough patch you are back with your broken record message to be repeated over and over and nauseam. You have such a one track mind it's astounding.
  18. Take that s*** where it's wanted dummy.
  19. Did you honestly think AA was fit to move straight into a team president role after serving as Jays GM? Give your head a shake man. Look at what Shapiro has done in overhauling the entire organization. Anthopoulos was in no away shape or form capable of this type of full scale organizational overhaul.
  20. How about you go and worship the Rays and Astros on those teams fan boards instead of the constant fellating you are giving these teams on here.
  21. The GM wasn't fired. He decided he didn't want to work under Shapiro and took his ball and went home. But that doesn't fit your chosen narrative does it.
  22. He's going to have to start showing some power of this is going to happen.
