  1. I realize Lester is too good for it to matter much, but I have to wonder if Maddon at least had some reservations about putting a guy into a situation he hasn't faced in a decade.
  2. Nice wheels by Bryant, but that's tough to swallow for Cleveland considering they very well could have had him rung up.
  3. Yeah that would be so anticlimactic, here's hoping there's intrigue right down to the final pitch.
  4. Yeah for sure. When the series got to 3-1 I was ready for the off season to begin, but I'm happy to see the Cubs battle back and tonight should be special.
  5. I don't see them moving Yelich, I'd say Ozuna would be much more attainable.
  6. Is there a deal to be found involving one of our starting pitchers for Marcell Osuna?
  7. Dickey is a great defender and is one of the game's best at holding base runners.
  8. No way, if we're taking Ethier than you have the wrong team adding a good prospect. In that case we would be looking at something along the lines of the Liriano trade.
  9. Austin Barnes from the Dodgers should be trade target. Great minor league numbers, grades as a high end framer and has the versatility to play 2B and 3B as well.
  10. Bryant is a fair bit younger and to my knowledge doesn't have any injury issues that would affect his base running. I don't think that's a fair comparison nor do I see any particular play worth dwelling on. We lost because the offense didn't generate enough runs.

I've seen a ton of Andersen since he entered the league, he's a starting caliber goalie and I am confident he will settle in and play well for Toronto (not a Leafs fan btw).
  12. Before seeing this list I had already tabbed Austin Barnes as a potential backup C trade target, but I had no idea his framing graded out that well.
  13. 20+ relievers who you think are better - go!
  14. You had a cute little run there where people pretended to take you seriously but the novelty has worn off.
  15. If we can adequately replace those two while adding draft picks in the process, it could turn out to be a major win.
  16. What I saw was a huge southpaw with good stuff who had the potential to shoot up the system as a reliever if he was able to harness his control, which he's never been able to do. Then again you have Alford ranked outside your top 100 haha so I shouldn't really feel the need to justify my choices to you.
  17. That's not bad at all.
  18. I had Smoral in my top 20 #oops
  19. Pete Walker is a beauty
  20. I'll always be curious just how good of a starter Osuna may have become, but at this point it would almost be a foolish move. He's one of our most valuable players in his current role, and we don't have a need for starters. That's without even getting into Osuna's past arm issues. He's our closer from here on out and I don't know if we've ever had one who was this good right out of the gate (sorry Billy Koch). Our pitching staff doesn't need much in the way of tweaking this off season. Try and add a quality reliever or two, no need for a bold move like this.
