    Your whining isn't a good quality for anyone.

    That still makes no sense though. Even if you have speed, the easier positions are still easier to cover.

    You would have a tough time getting most people to agree with that. Center field generally requires more speed because it's more difficult to cover.

    We lost Brett Cecil so we're down a double first name guy. Devon Travis, Russell Martin, Josh Donald's Son...have to keep the trend going.

    Fair enough. I guess the only motivation for the Mets in that scenario is to save the 1M buyout.

    I guess if they can get any sort of prospect(s) in return, then picking up the option at 13M would have proven more beneficial than buying him out for 1M.

    It wasn't worded as an opinion though. "I believe", and "it's safe to assume" are miles apart in this scenario.

    Lol that isn't a safe assumption at all. It's not even safe to assume he can successfully transition to starting.

    Andres Blanco is a similar case. Raked against righties in 2015 but struggled this past season.

    We'd be forking over one of our top 3 prospects + another top 10 guy just to stay competitive in those talks. Eaton would be highly coveted for sure.

    I would prefer Pagan as well, he's been mentioned quite a bit so just throwing another option out there.

    If Nori Aoki is non tendered, he'd probably make a good platoon partner for Upton in LF.
