  1. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you, stay safe and be merry.
  2. 1 year $18M for Bautista - yay or nay?
  3. Very true, although I do have a couple home remedies that make such tasks more enjoyable on a lazy afternoon. Oh s***, thanks for the reminder - I need to hit the LCBO haha back out I go.
  4. Happy Christmas Eve everyone. Just got home from doing my Xmas shopping, mall wasn't busy at all - waited out the crowds.
  5. Nothing but assumptions, neither of you have the inside knowledge to back up these claims.

Nice goal by Nylander, pretty crafty play to make at high speed.
  7. Not saying either is ideal by any means, but a Carerra/Upton platoon is > Upton playing every day.
  8. Oh gotcha my bad, that makes more sense.
  9. Why should they be in a hurry to move a young starter just entering arbitration while his value is at an all time low point?
  10. Where did Cleveland's returning core players come from?
  11. We'll let you know when you can start.
  12. The hip thing didn't come up, was just responding to the issue of K rate. I don't know enough about his medical history or current health to have an opinion on that. I don't see Rowdy starting the year with the big club even if he rakes in ST. May see him over the course of the season though.
  13. First time someone will respond to both of your wet work ads on Craigslist at the same time.
  14. Lebron lives 25 minutes outside the city in a place called Bath, Ohio and the area looks nice enough to me. The word 'quaint' might even apply but I don't know if I have the experience to make that call.
  15. You should learn to use the multiquote function, we don't need to see your garbage spread across three posts.
  16. Meh, I get that K's are frustrating to watch but if a guy generates runs I really don't care how he goes about doing it.
  17. Building for sustained success is the way to go, and I really don't think anything about this off season indicates a rebuild.
  18. Happy for Edwin, he still did pretty well despite his agent being a douche nozzle running wide open. EE is getting solid money and joining an elite team. Nothing but love and appreciation for his time here, wish him all the best. Taking a team that came oh so close to winning a World Series, and more or less adding Brantley, Edwin, Carrasco and Salazar, well really a giant collective upgrade over their respective replacements, assuming all are healthy. That's some scary s***. A lot can happen between now and then, and I'm not discounting some other good teams including our own, but sure isn't tough to picture Cleveland and Boston duking it out for the AL title.
  19. Article on the Jays and the back up catcher market - http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story/patient-blue-jays-could-benefit-from-a-quiet-catching-market-122216?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  20. I have a weird feeling EE winds up in Oakland, even if it's not a traditional A's type move.
  21. I'm dumb, for a minute I thought you had "This Ship is Sinking" printed on a jersey haha. A Shea Hillenbrand jersey will definitely earn Hurl some dirty looks at the RC.
  22. If it was some real scumbag I'd ditch it but otherwise yeah I agree. I think my next jersey will be a Jays legend though, can't really go wrong there, Bautista included.
  23. Meh, he's Canadian, he played his ass off when he was here and ended up being a piece in a trade that brought us an MVP - I don't hold any ill will towards Lawrie at all and don't see any shame in rocking his jersey.
  24. That would work just fine for me. I like Blevins because he can be our top option vs lefties and his career numbers vs righties are pretty good too. He's also typically faired well in high leverage situations, just seems like an all round good veteran reliever to replace Cecil.
