  1. Only would need to convince fifteen others for a majority.
  2. Probably allowed to make trades
  3. Would you accept a group of 30 co - GM's?
  4. Archer, Snell, Faria, Andriese? Then they'll get by on spot starts or depth options in the five slot until they're ready to start Honeywell's clock?
  5. I just don't see why they'd bother helping us out of that contract when they can spend similar money on better players still left on the market.
  6. I would love it, but there are still better options remaining in free agency who can likely be had for less, just can't see why they would do it.
  7. I looked for a reaction gif but none of them quite had enough vomit.
  8. A deal to open the deadline floodgates... To JG34: C/RW William Nylander 2nd Round Pick To Pendleton: C Alexander Barkov LW/RW Timo Meier 1st Round Pick I'm going to promote Meier as soon as this is confirmed
  9. I honestly doubt you actually read the thread if that is your takeaway from it. Stro has an annoying, self absorbed, little man syndrome personality, and it makes him difficult for some of us to root for. No one is questioning his talent, but rather whether they want to cheer for a guy who acts like such a diva. You'll notice that we don't have people saying the same about Sanchez, Osuna or any of our other top young players. There's a reason for that, and it's everything to do with Stro's obnoxious personality.
  10. Holy f*** Stro, just stop talking already.
  11. My condolences to your family bud.
  12. As a Taijuan Walker owner I'm happy with it, his numbers were much better on the road last season.

They saved money, and will save even more if they buyout Gaborik at season's end. It seems as though that's their main motivator in this one. I wouldn't have expected Phaneuf to bring back much value, his contract was an anchor and I'm sure the whole league was aware they'd be happy to get rid of it.

  18. February 11th, 2018 at 9:01pm CST • By Mark Polishuk With his career as a starting pitcher faltering in 2013, Zach Duke decided to embrace being a reliever after some blunt words from his wife Kristin, the newly-signed Twin tells Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “She kind of had to beat it through my head that I was done as a starter,” Duke said. “My wife just kind of said, ‘Listen, nobody is interested in you as a starter anymore. They’ve seen it, babe. There’s nothing changing. They know what they’re going to get as a starter, and nobody wants it anymore.’ ” Kristin’s advice ended up turning her husband’s career around, particularly after a late-season run of success out of the Reds’ bullpen in 2013. Over the last four seasons, Duke has a 2.85 ERA, 2.62 K/BB rate and a 10.0 K/9 over 198 2/3 relief innings.
  19. I would ditch all my friends for Salma Hayek.
  20. Is that a claymation version of Garth Brooks?
  21. ^ Pleasantly surprised to see the giant ranked already
  22. This whole thing is pretty fascinating
