  1. Would move a SP for a 3B.
  2. Ohtani eh...I could probably get in on that
  3. Indians wouldn't touch that, I really doubt Pillar could fetch us a decent SP, just doesn't have much value.
  4. Yeah that's just brutal

    What strain?
  7. As did your DDL team
  8. Nope, for a player of Yelich's caliber and amazing contract value, I'd only consider Vlad untouchable.
  9. Morse code through teeth clicking.
  10. Oh yeah I agree that bullpens are a crapshoot in general, but I'm just saying our's is especially unpredictable with so few guys have tenured success in high leverage roles.
  11. I see the bullpen as a big wildcard at this point. If the plan is to start Biagini then that's a blow to the perceived outlook. A lot will depend on whether some of the stronger performers from last season are for real - definitely lacking in veteran dependability as of now.
  12. Oops I thought I responded to your PM. I'll get back to shortly if that's alright, just want to get through the LoD draft and then I'll have some time to work on my BORED team.
  13. I don't think this was supposed to go here
  14. Bo + Travis + SRF + Teoscar
  15. Yeah that would be ideal if one of the young catchers were ready for that, Martin would be a great mentor in that role too. It looks like St Louis will also have a similar setup with Carson Kelly expected to slowly take the reigns from Molina over the next couple years.
  16. Yeah I agree we could use a good backup to prevent Martin from breaking down (or step in if he does). Hopefully one of the young guys looks ready in ST but maybe a veteran will be added before then.
  17. Least of our worries. Martin is a top 10 catcher, if we're worried about our C position so are at least 20 other teams. Also have Jansen on the way who is a top offensive catcher in the minors.
  18. ^ If/when further OF improvement is needed, hopefully Alford can bring that by season's end.
  19. No risk there, good signing
  20. I don't think Reynolds is a bad piece for what could be only a year of Cutch (who did just rebound from a crap season). Reynolds was one of the top college bats in last years class and looks like a pretty well rounded hitter so far. Probably starts in AA for the Bucs and might only be a year away. Likely a top 100 prospect after spring graduations, or at least by mid season if he continues to hit. If Crick turns out to be a good reliever that's a nice bonus. I just don't think anyone would be lining up to hand over high end pieces for Cutch right now, especially with the FA market still sitting at a standstill. I get that it seems light for a big name OF though.
  21. So something like Slater, Reynolds, Crick ?
  22. Yeah the Giants don't have much of a farm to begin with and it sounds like they still held onto their best pieces here.
  23. Arroyo went to Tampa in the Longo deal. I'm going to guess Reynolds, Gregorio and a lottery ticket. Slater/Duggar also seem to be likely inclusions.
  24. None of Shaw, Beede or Ramos involved apparently. So they didn't even manage to get one of their top 3 young pieces if true. The exact return heading back to Pittsburgh remains unknown, though none of Chris Shaw, Tyler Beede or Heliot Ramos are in the trade (all Twitter links via MLB.com’s Jon Morosi, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic, and Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post). That trio represents three of the Giants’ top regarded prospects.
