Sparks maybe, that's why you don't risk it with him. Pickard has had some looks in the NHL, teams weren't tripping over themselves to get him when available last year and I don't think much has changed. He's someone you maybe claim if you have an injury but I don't think anyone is turfing their backup to get him at this point.

Yep so you have to decide now who's the best asset and keep him as your back up. The other two aren't likely to be claimed unless someone has an injury though, every team will likely be happy with it's two guys and have a lot of their 3/4s on waivers all around the same time.

I wasn't listening but looks like that is correct. Probably waive McElhinney instead and keep the kid up.

  8. Lmao no I only know your first name
  9. I could see Gavigilio in a long man role, minimizes walks and could hopefully get us through the order a couple times and keep you in a game when the starter has been chased early. Probably going to need someone like that with a younger rotation.
  10. I tried to add Spanky on FB but he won't accept my friend request
  11. Yeah the closer thing opens up another can of worms, but just in terms of starters, it would be interesting to see how many starts a guy can miss before it starts to hurt their chances of winning the CY.
  12. Haha yeah it was just a facetious comment about the pace of the draft. Probably seems worse to me with my picks being far apart.
  13. CC Sabathia was a substantiace in his prime
  14. Now I'm curious to know the lowest numbers of innings thrown by Cy Young winners.

  19. It's too bad he didn't get a good pitch in that AB just now, was curious if he'd even be able to swing the bat.
  20. P2F do you have a scouting report on Colton Point?
