  1. Yeah I'm glad they're making it official today so that the home fans can give him a nice send off this afternoon.

You're right, many feel that it's a broken system. Back when a game could end in a tie, it made sense that the two teams split the two points in the event of a tie. Now that every game ends with a win, they could ditch the points system.

Used to get 2 points for a win, and one each for a tie. Now there are no ties, but they hand out a point to a team that loses in OT or shootout - some fans refer to it as a loser point.
  4. Gibby is a beauty, going to miss him. They better have a damn good candidate in mind to make this worthwhile.

You bet $75 that this Sens team will shatter the all time record for wins in a season?

Sparks maybe, that's why you don't risk it with him. Pickard has had some looks in the NHL, teams weren't tripping over themselves to get him when available last year and I don't think much has changed. He's someone you maybe claim if you have an injury but I don't think anyone is turfing their backup to get him at this point.

Yep so you have to decide now who's the best asset and keep him as your back up. The other two aren't likely to be claimed unless someone has an injury though, every team will likely be happy with it's two guys and have a lot of their 3/4s on waivers all around the same time.

I wasn't listening but looks like that is correct. Probably waive McElhinney instead and keep the kid up.

That goal by Hudon was quite something
  13. ^ I sent GoldBull a PM
  14. Did his parents name him after Sandberg? Not an overly common name
  15. Making me wish we could have deeper farms
  16. Lmao no I only know your first name
  17. I could see Gavigilio in a long man role, minimizes walks and could hopefully get us through the order a couple times and keep you in a game when the starter has been chased early. Probably going to need someone like that with a younger rotation.
  18. I tried to add Spanky on FB but he won't accept my friend request
  19. Yeah the closer thing opens up another can of worms, but just in terms of starters, it would be interesting to see how many starts a guy can miss before it starts to hurt their chances of winning the CY.
  20. Haha yeah it was just a facetious comment about the pace of the draft. Probably seems worse to me with my picks being far apart.
  21. CC Sabathia was a substantiace in his prime
  22. Now I'm curious to know the lowest numbers of innings thrown by Cy Young winners.
  23. Only 24 more picks? Might have this done by October after all
  24. One time I played mini golf
