  1. Nice of this game to remind us twice of that stupid KC Amish guy
  2. To clarify, you are suggesting we kill Spanky and bring him back to life as a statue?
  3. This is Liberal Canada, you are not allowed to defend yourself. If threatened, just curl up into a ball and pray to Allah. These are Canadian values
  4. Baseball reference lists his nickname as "Big Baby"
  5. He's a damn good ball player.
  6. They are, but in this case I don't think they did anything wrong. They let him pitch long enough to reach his 50K bonus. Then dropped him before he starts getting an extra 150k per ten innings because he's sucked and they called up a top prospect to replace him (Bubba Chandler)
  7. Carrabis is getting dragged for this take in the comments, kinda funny
  8. Many have pointed out that Nate Eaton (the runner on 3B) was in the game as a pinch runner and has 95th percentile sprint speed, but the CF Cowser also happens to have 95th percentile arm strength. Given the situation (trailing in extra innings) I feel like they absolutely should have been sending there, regardless of the bad throw in hindsight.
  9. .....and now a homer to straight center in his first AB tonight
  10. Pham is the exact type of moron who would bat flip after walking, start shooting his mouth off and then claim to be the gatekeeper of respect.
  11. I don't like when fat people are flexible, it just seems unnatural.
  12. Not sure if I've ever seen anyone with first/second half splits quite like Michael Harris Jr. His career numbers in the second half are outstanding. This year he's taken the split to a whole new level, has raised his OPS from .558 to .705 since the start of June. Career first half: .243/.280/.383 (80 wRC+) Career second half: .322/.355/.551 (148 wRC+) 2025 first half: .210/.234/.317 (47 wRC+) 2025 second half: .398/.413/.732 (217 wRC+) It would be one thing to see a guy do this in one given year, could be chalked up to an injury or just an anomaly. But this is different, every year Harris Jr is dogshit until mid summer and then becomes one of the top hitters in baseball - bizarre
