Not sure if I've ever seen anyone with first/second half splits quite like Michael Harris Jr. His career numbers in the second half are outstanding. This year he's taken the split to a whole new level, has raised his OPS from .558 to .705 since the start of June.
Career first half: .243/.280/.383 (80 wRC+)
Career second half: .322/.355/.551 (148 wRC+)
2025 first half: .210/.234/.317 (47 wRC+)
2025 second half: .398/.413/.732 (217 wRC+)
It would be one thing to see a guy do this in one given year, could be chalked up to an injury or just an anomaly. But this is different, every year Harris Jr is dogshit until mid summer and then becomes one of the top hitters in baseball - bizarre
