  1. No, just getting him as many ab's per game as possible. Someone is waking up in Jaysland.
  2. Vladdy is morphing into the Dominican Ichiro

  4. The pitching matchup on Monday will feature White Sox righty Erick Fedde (4-0, 2.60) taking on Blue Jays' righty Jose Berrios (4-3, 2.82). The first pitch is scheduled for 3:07 PM EST. 5. Yeah, so watching the game I get the opposite of what the numbers are saying. His slider looked the best I've seen from him, maybe ever. His use of the changeup was great, using it in counts where he would avoid it. Stuff looked good. His location was hit and miss. He only had one walk but got favourable calls and hit a couple of batters. I'm skeptical on the data if it says his stuff wasn't good and his location was. Something is wrong here.
  6. There's a lesson in there somewhere.
  7. Manoah could be a game changer if he stays consistent. The only issue being, since we don't score more than four runs per game we will need a quality start basically every game. Lot of pressure to put on our rotation. It may not be probable but it's possible. Scratch that, we don't want another probability debate. I could see us passing the Rays and finishing third in the division; however will we have a better record than the Guardians, Royals, Astros, Rangers, Mariners and Twins? Doubtful.
  8. Should have won this series. Yesterday was a gut punch. Maybe we make some hay while the sun shines the next few series. Let see what happens.
  9. Sigh. Look at their players bro. Why are you being so obtuse on such a dumb point of contention? You're usually the clear headed one.
  10. Great game considering the guy lives in van down by the river.
  11. My gdt win percentage keeps climbing. I should be on the Jays payroll.
  12. Get Romano up. We're into save territory. Thanks mr. Pop.
  13. Wait a second. Are you trying to tell me that because the Dodgers have a sea of red on their statcast page it means they're good? I'll be damned.
  14. He is 3 percentile in LA sweet spot %. Like just missing everything. Can't believe it.
  15. Ugh Bo...hitless all series. Terrible. He looks uncommitted in his swings.
  16. It's all in the braids. Good job Alek.
  17. Confidence can be a powerful thing. Maybe you're right.
  18. Too early to start jawing Alek.
  19. Yeah, I suspect Shapiro is a control freak.
  20. Nah, he just gave him the vote of confidence yesterday. To follow that up with a firing would be really slimy.
  21. The Blue Jays are averaging 3.61 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.72 runs per game. The offense is ranked 29th in the league while the pitching is ranked 20th. They are only battling .227 as a team which is 25th in the league. Getting the start for the Blue Jays will be Alek Manoah who sits with an 0-1 record and an ERA of 4.91.
  22. Even with Judge's slow start (I heard he had a bad foot) the Yanks still got off to a great start thanks to Soto's torrid pace. With Cole due back likely sometime mid/late June they will be a team to be reckoned with. Not good news for the O's. Amazing what a team can accomplish when their best players actually play like their best players.
  23. Gausman would have been good for one more.
