Well that is the crux of the issue. Atkins not only said he wasn't in the room, but that the decision makers were those who wear uniforms, ie. the coaching staff in the dugout. I tend to believe him.

Different situation. Game one vs win or go home game. Ober gave up three earned runs before being pulled. They went to the pen, not unproven starter turned reliever for the first time this season. Meh, I think the horse has expired.

Well someone is lieing here. Take your pick, it doesn't really matter to me. Just know you got 🐔 s*** management running things either upstairs in the office or the clubhouse or perhaps both. Even if Schneider didn't make the call he should still be gone. That is obvious to every observer. You need the respect of your players to accomplish anything.
