  1. No thanks. Would prefer to move on from him all together.
  2. If that's your type Oshawa is right up your alley. Perhaps Spanky can show you around.
  3. The EE and David Price comparison was really really dumb
  4. They better look good. Otherwise I will hate this.
  5. He's a Legend in Korea. It would be a welcome home coming.
  6. Buck's hair is so thick. How does he do it?
  7. He's not going anywhere
  8. No I'm not talking out my ass both he and his agent said his preference is to remain in CF. That went into his decision to sign with Baltimore than change his mind. He took a chance on himself but he also got to play with a better team and CF for the best team in Baseball. I agree I think he will take the most money as well. I doubt the Blue Jays will offer him the most money. He might get upwards to 4 years 90M.
  9. No he isn't a great CF but he wants to play CF. If the money is equal and it probably will be. Teams will allow him to play CF his preference. Once again Cubs want to bring him back and hes at the top of the OF market. We would need to overpay. Doesn't seem likely. He's a nice player but other options exist that make more sense.
  10. They aren't going to sign Fowler. Draft pick compensation attached to him. I see no reason why the Cubs wouldn't try to resign him and he will definitely pick a team willing to play him in CF. I would prefer to see him in a corner.
  11. Have to keep in mind he can't run at all. They said they wanted to address team speed. We could probably get a good year out of his bat. His avg exit velocity was 95.26 which is well above average. Just not sure they will go in that direction.
  12. Grass please
  13. That Grilli option is a no brainer. Even though he had a bad September he bounced back pretty well. And would expect him to produce value at that contract value. Love the guy he will be back.
  14. Put the banner up but don't make a fuss about it. Raptors put up a banner this year and did it quietly I would prefer that.
  15. todd has spoken. Alford is a non prospect. It's time to move on. Maybe he has a future in the CFL.
  16. We got todd for this now.
  17. That would be nice. Organization seems to love him for some reason. I miss Butterfield.
  18. No his main issue is not making contact.
  19. He will will be in the 19-22M range for 4-5 years
  20. But they have been successful in spite of him. Imagine a manager with this talent actually making good decisions. That would be awesome man.
  21. I didn't expect him to get fired but would have been nice. Probably his last year though barring a dream season.
  22. I hope he's back. Has went out of his way to say he wants to come back on many occasions. People forget hes been on waivers, hes been outrighted. He was temporarily in Oakland's system at one point I believe. He had the option of going anywhere he wanted and decided to resign with us because he wanted it to work here. I love the guy and always will but if someone wants to pay him out the ass for a 5 year contract you let him walk. But just because Ortiz said Boston should sign him doesn't mean it will happen. I think Boston will be looking at Trumbo and Napoli for the 1st Base/DH spot.
  23. He should probably given the chance if he wants it. Hard to ignore a 21 year old with an arm like that with 3 plus pitches who was actually working on a 4th and different wrinkles and variations throughout the season. He's a special talent he just can't be ran into the ground by your manager. Gibbons could have done a much better job of managing his workload especially in back to back scenarios. At times he would get a week to 8 days off. Than pitch 5 of the next 6 nights coming in games we have had more than a 3-run lead.
  24. If the return is nice you consider trading either I agree. Estrada is a free agent next year so maybe you want to hold on him and collect a first. Happ signed through age 36 season you don't have that guaranteed. Plus I think this season was simply a dream season for him. I just don't see anyway he can put up this kind of season again. I expect regression and like taking advantage of overachievers on the trade market. You can consider streching out both Biagini and Osuna. Sign a veteran innings eating. Have a battle for a 5th starter spot. Once again depends on the return. They are both on such manageable contracts. Definitely don't want to see Osuna traded. I don't know why that was suggested. His injury situation got blown up and came back and had a great playoffs. The gutsy effort against Texas. Pitching 4 of the 5 games against Cleveland including 3 in a row. I don't know how you can be concerned with his arm. Gibbons just can't overuse him in 17. This once hes hot ******** hes gotta come in regardless of score needs to stop. He came in way to many times this year where it was simply overkill. We have a nice bullpen makeup. Perhaps some depth and another high leverage reliever will allow Gibbons to chill the f*** out.
