Don't like Morales. Its not a huge financial commitment. But he's strictly a DH who can't run the bases at all. He better hit the s*** out of the ball.

Actually in video games players have interest levels and if its low you probably won't sign the guy. It can actually go lower if you lowball him as well. I also don't think Steve Pearce would be against signing here. He would have at-bats at 1B, 2B, and a corner Outfield spot. Who knows about Travis status either!

I love this. It's a market we all wanted the Blue Jays to start spending into. He's talented, versatile, and gets on base. Contract has a ton of value especially if he taps into that power potential. I like that he's starting in the minors as well to polish off his development and of course aculimate himself. Start him at SS and move him around as they see fit. Really excited about the move. Great start to the off-season adding such a talented player to the organization.

No. He would be a great target however the Dodgers continue to ask for way to much considering how much they flushed his value in the toilet. They are probably going to have to either play him and accept his personality or suck it up and take a loss in a trade scenario.

It might not be how you want it to work but it is what it is. Maybe AA plays out the season with Smoak instead of giving him the random extension.

Shatkins gave Smoak that extension so he's officially apart of the Shatkins era.

Getting a team option was pretty clutch especially if he has a good season. Shocked he settled for one.

Josh Thole will join him soon enough. Wouldn't shock me if he had a good season in the NL. I'm just suprised he signed so fast.

Powell is arguably the best defender on the team no idea how that came up. He also defends the teams best scorer generally when in games.
