  1. Agree way rather have the draft pick
  2. Holy s***....
  3. He likes to have fun more power to him. He will be ready. I'm just glad that hip is feeling better.
  4. Always sad when someone so young dies. Regardless of the circumstances. RIP. Sadly this is happening way to often.
  5. Crazier things have happened. Its not like his market is booming. Pearce is fully capable of playing a corner.
  6. If they resign Turner this becomes pretty moot. And I think they would prefer to overpay Turner than give that much up for Donaldson.
  7. todd had this guy ahead of Alford
  8. Sounds pretty lovely although I would prefer to avoid Ianetta. We need to find a backup that can frame. He had one year otherwise he's been complete trash. If we could get Blackmon without trading Stroman nobody would be happier than me. Love the guy. I think we all want Dyson hes a no brainer. 4 good pen options. Feliz seems virtually fixed just concerned about the homeruns he gives up. His command and velocity is back. We still have some options I'm not concerned yet. If its not Stroman it will be Happ + something else. Maybe we can pawn Smoak off on them as well.
  9. That's actually kind of suprising. Does Moss project better in LF or RF? If I remember correctly he had a decent arm. It looks like Pearce may play First Base everyday anyway. Perhaps Smoak plays against RHP who don't have good breaking pitches. Kinda sad how useless he is. But it's got to that point,
  10. He was abysmal in the second half. In fact most of his career he's either really good or really bad. I would prefer we find someone who is a little more consistent and athletic. He can play an OF corner but I don't think I want to see him play it everyday. Platoon hides him but he would still see more time in the OF than I would like. If worse comes to worse a cheap power option. But I would like to see us exhaust other options first.
  11. Moss barf. No thanks
  12. Edwin in LF was an experiment they quickly abandoned for a reason lol

  14. Anything is possible. But it won't look good to sign someone and turn around and ask him if they could trade you somewhere else. That's a good way to piss off the MLBPA and its not exactly a good way to conduct business period.
  15. Yes that's what Ken Rosenthal was suggesting. That's why I brought it up.
  16. Fowler is a good player. But he doesn't project well in CF long term. I feel they certainly overpaid and glad we didn't go there. Apparently St. Louis is looking to spend accordingly to Rosenthal. Maybe they are talking to Edwin.
  17. 5 years 82.5M wow with a full no trade
  18. 100% he plays full season ball unless he suffers an injury.
  19. Yea it could be a good month before we see another big move. Kenley will let the Marlins and Dodgers fight over him for awhile. See if they can't get the Nationals in on him as well.
  20. That won't happen though.
