    I think people are allowed to be pissed off about the decision to outright release Tulo. That decision made very little sense even if you thought he was done. They seemed to do it purely as a favour and maybe to get into the good graces of his agent. Personally felt they could have played hard ball with him. Especially after his comments suggesting if he wasn’’t the starting SS he would pack his bags and go home. Blue Jays would have been in position to suspend him without pay if that was the case. But to honest its all a sunk cost and everyone should move on. Doubtful he would have willingly to give up that money. Retiring is purely a paperwork move. Probably just would have stayed in Florida and only joined the team on rare occasions until his contract was up. You could argue he should have gave up money to be granted his release but that’s about it at this point. It honestly looked like he never wanted to be here to begin with.

    This is the s*** in the industry that needs to change. Thinking that a complete unproven commodity is more valuable than a guy who has been consistently good in the best division in Baseball. If Marcus Stroman was a free agent after this season I get it. But you shouldn’t expect to get a legit #2 starter without giving up one of your best prospects. And teams should stop allowing this to happen by settling for anything less. Buying teams need to pay a premium. One of these teams will give up a top prospect for Stroman and you don’t trade him until they do.

    Only if someone tells him that. Apparently he doesn’t know what’s going on around him unless hes told about it.

    It better be. If he’s getting traded not a chance he starts on July 30th his next scheduled start.

    Wonder how long they will let Stroman go. Obviously his pitch count is low but you want to make sure he stays healthy ahead of the deadline and playing in that humidity takes a toll on the body.

    I wonder how much longer of a rope Vlad Jr has. Batting practice is one thing but hes just not major league ready on either side of the ball.

    Well if I’m Atkins Im making the Astros give up one of their top prospects or they are out quickly. Lots of pressure on Atkins to get great returns.,The Happ situation can’t happen again. And if you’re trading him in the division we need to hurt that farm system plus get Frazier in that deal. I was kind of thinking Galvis gets traded this week to make room for Bo but maybe they want to wait a bit longer.

    Yea I think we could a little something interesting for him. Its a really nice sample for him. Definitely a lottery ticket.

    Agree with all of this. Not a chance hes here when the team is ready to compete. Hes just a nice guy that the players will want to play for and help get the Latin players comfortable adapting.

    Giles is a significant snub. If he was on any kind of playoff team he would be an All-Star.

    Yea Gurriel can hit man. This kids good. I love Biggio as well. Just has great at-bats and legit power.
