What made anyone in the Jays organization think it was a good idea to bring back Little? In certainly wasn't his AAA numbers where he continued to not throw strikes.
Starting to get concerned that they are struggling to get Bieber to his targeted pitch counts. Why was it a struggle to throw 80 pitches. Is he sore, is he hurt, tired? His entire ramp up has been so weird.
I think they will dominate Qatar. 2 or 3-0 at least. Swiss coasted after the first half. I do agree with Canada being struggle to finish. But I don't think Qatar is going to be able to compete with Canada's speed. I don't think they score unless its on a crazy mistake.
Atleast Qatar scored a miracle late goal and got a draw with Switzerland that makes it extremely likely that Canada can now not only advance in the group but now potentially win the group. So it hasn't been a complete s*** day.
I will never forgive John Schneider for the amount of bats he gave IKF and Straw in the World Series and post season in general. But I think almost any other manager has this team in a better position right now.
His inability to make intelligent in game decisions for one. Just the last inning alone. He decided to use Ernie Clement to bunt with 2 on and nobody out. Decided to use Straw to run for Sanchez which just weakened our lineup for no reason incase its important later. Decides to not use Kirk to pinch hit and leaves in 2 rookies to hit. Including one who has brought up to hit lefty pitching.
I mean Kirk had 3 hits last night. He can't come in to take an at-bat. Can we also point out that idiotic decision to use Straw to run behind Okamoto. Which took Sanchez out of the game so now Straw is going to probably come up in an extra innings situation. Just so many bad decisions game in game out. Rob Thompson at home in Stratford waiting for that phone call.
