    Yea I don’t like that part. His reliever contract is market value. Maybe it increased the return. But hopefully they didn’t absorb that much.

    Literally crying tears of joy. Only downside is I still have to watch him hit on the other team the next few days.

    They already sat down with him to discuss his options. He said he wanted to go to Boston if traded anywhere. But the Jays aren’t going to gift him to the Red Sox. They wanted a legit something. But the Red Sox have an offer out there its up to the Jays to accept. I’m assuming its a nothing burger so the Jays aren’t going to do it.

    Macko sucks. Worthwhile gamble on Smith to be honest.

    Will be interesting to see how the rest of the day pans out now, Basically replaced Gausman with Soriano. You have Tallion in the mix now. Possibly they plan to shut down Trey early. It doesn’t really make much sense to trade Bieber. You actually just hope he pitches well down the strech and qualify him. Max didn’t want to pitch anywhere but Toronto apparently so will be interesting to see if his mind changed and or anyone would even trust him to acquire him.

    Didn’t really think much of Arjun. He was awful last year but had a resurgence as a prospect this Season and got himself to AA. Intriguing tools and build but he could honestly go either way. Probably good idea for Atkins to cash out on him.

    Apparently the Cubs are picking up the full remainder Gausman's contract. They probably could have gotten more in a return. But are seemingly going to try to prioritize reducing the tax bill at this point. Jays are 23 million over the 40 million target point where you lose 10 slots in the draft. I doubt they will be able to get under that. But shedding Gausman's remaining 7 million helps.
