If you would have told me this morning that Italy beat the USA in Baseball and someone in the NBA would scored 83 points today I would have told you you're on meth.

So the other interesting domino here is if Canada wins its group and the tie breaker goes USAs way it be Canada vs USA in the quarter finals. But if USA gets eliminated. Canada might actually play Italy or Puerto Rico in the Quarter Finals. Which means all of a sudden Canada could go to the Final 4 out of nowhere.

It seems highly unlikely weighing all factors. And one the bigger factors is the Olympics actually require a lot more documentation in terms of who you can compete for. So a lot of these guys who play for other countries in the WBC would be ineligible in the Olympics. There is a growing desire for it to happen. Especially with it being in LA.

Mark DeRosa was always a weird choice as Manager. Did he even do any kind of coaching. I am pretty sure he directly went into broadcasting with MLB Network once he retired with the Jays.

I love this tournament I really do. I just want Canada to bring some facking pitching because legit they could be 4-0 in that group if they had Pivetta, Tong, and Smith, Brash I will give a break to because hes actually banged up. The real question is if Canada does advance can we add one of those guys to the roster.
