I love Canada and the USA! I will always be proud to be Canadian but in the US I have the job opportunities that simply doesn’t exist anymore in Canada. Hopefully one day that changes! With that being said I did enjoy watching them lose. They were talking way too much smack.

This thread is becoming a little bit to much Canada vs America for me all of a sudden. Clearly the Americans on the board don’t really care about the politics and are just Jays fans for whatever reason it happened. Its just a little too much.

Why did they decide not to do ABS in the World Baseball Classic despite it being prominent in Spring.. Were some of the international venues just not equipped for it? Seems like something that could have been fixed if they were able to install into every Spring venue in Florida and Arizona. It does suck seeing games end on terrible strike calls.

Venzuela has a lot of talent no doubt but to beat Japan on the international level Is extremely impressive. They have been utterly dominant. I don’t think they lost for a decade before tonight.

Ofcourse I do. I think it will be best on best. And a lot of these gimmick teams like Italy and Israel won’t exist when they need actual passports to play for those countries. Feel like Canada could compete for a medal.

Pretty monumental upset. That country has been through it. This is a beacon of hope. Hopefully now that their dictator is gone they can use a moment like this to fuel the future.
