Bad decisions like pulling Berrios at 47 pitches made headlines around the league. You better believe these things come up in future negotiations. Players don't want to hear what things they do bad or why it makes sense to be pulled over or pinch hit for in certain situations. There is clearly a fracture of trust between the players and coaching staff over that decision. And might be an even larger one between the coaches and management. Yet all the cogs making the decisions remain in place. It doesn't exactly look like things could get better especially standing on the outside.
Dbag sure. But Liberal Toronto getting a victory is not something we should be happy about. I wish Anthony Bass was only cut for Baseball reasons. But anyone with a brain knows that’s not true.
5 minute overtimes until somebody wins.
There’s so many times we get an action packed 3v3 OT with end to end chances and you wish they just did another period.
Mookie Betts is overrated.
.710 career OPS in the playoffs.
And no his Mickey Mouse ring doesn't count. 2018 one does. But still he was shut down in the playoffs again. Easy work for Diamondbacks pitching.
I really think people are overreacting to Richards struggles. He clearly wasn't the same game after he was activated. I'm not convinced he was fully healthy. He was so good a vast majority of the Season. And he still had an incredible season despite his inflated ERA by seasons end. He's definitely a guy I want in the mix again next season.
Jays wouldn’t have got swept in a 5 game series.
I still think it’s dumb the DS is only 5 games. All those good teams sit for a week to have the Season over that quickly. It’s a bit rough.
Not debatable. They still have s***** pitching though. They have the assets to trade for some just haven’t yet. They also haven’t spent any money yet either will be interesting to see if they do.
They are set up quite well
Is Varsho easy to cheer for because he’s 5’7 and looks like he’s from Lindsay, Ontario?
I don’t want feel good stories. I want attractive alpha dogs. Picking him over Kiermaier is like choosing Rudy over the hottest guy at school.
Moreno has been nothing short of dynamic in this post season so far. Not only does he come up with big clutch hits he completely eliminates the other teams running game.
He’s going to be a good player in this league for a long time. I still can’t believe the Jays traded him. Varsho’s plate struggles have just compounded the issue. If we really wanted a Defensive Outfielder with control I really don’t think they needed to part with the organization #1 prospect.
Plus Jansen can’t stay healthy and Kirk is a disaster.
