    I will buy the Vlad and Bo predictions. Not so much the rest. It would be lovely if Jansen stayed healthy though.

    Because hes so far past his prime its delusional to think he would even make a roster. He won the MVP in 2015. Its 2024.

    That’s a really s***** Lineup. I hope the pitching staff stays incredibly healthy again if that’s the Lineup they are trotting out.

    I think they go year to year with Vlad. Sure possibly they just sign him through the remainder of his arbitration years like they did with Bo last year. But if the plan is to sign Vlad long term I don't think they save much money giving him a long term deal now opposed to him having a big 2024. He's still an overweight First Baseman who has defensive questions. He's not going to break the market. It would be amazing if he was even half the player he was in 21.

    Which is kind of a broken system if you think about it. He's getting a raise regardless. Why would he get his largest raise after his worst Season. The only reason he's played longer lol.

    In the regular Season its fine. Playoffs is the concern. If they are going to manage like that they need to atleast have the weapons to support the theory. Last year's playoff bullpen is probably the best bullpen we have had would like to see them build on that.

    Jays seem like they will pay more to get him to sign less years. Everybody would feel better about 2 years. 2 years and 30 million would be my bet.

    Good he doesn’t deserve that extra money. He had a terrible Season. Maybe this can fuel and motivate him. Hope they tear him apart in an arbitration meeting.

    Jays should be all over Hader and bring back Hicks as well. Considering they don’t let Starters go deep into games. Stack up the Bullpen.

    Espinal is like the world's easiest non tender. Its a slam dunk but they will pay him for some reason.

    I don't think anyone really fears Stroman. He's just a good reliable starter if you can put up with antics and smug attitude. The Jays already hit a metric f*** ton of ground balls. Maybe they will just BABIP him to death. He's not striking Jays out.

    In retrospect both those moves made very little sense. Neither of them improved the roster in any kind of meaningful. I was hoping IKF would atleast mean Espinal is gone but apparently he’s very much still in the plans

    It’s so unbelievably bad right now. More often than not when I check the board its down.

    Dodgers have spent over a Billion dollars on free agent contracts this off-season. There are franchises that won’t spend that in 2 decades.

    Pretty much. Atkins is banking on bounce back Seasons.

    Based on what under performance? Because they appear to be banking a lot on rebound Seasons. So skepticism is fair in that circumstance.

    Soler is a DH so his negative Defense will have zero impact. Joc Pederson is also a horrendous defensive player. And JD Martinez and Hoskins might not even be able to physically play a defensive position. Hoskins was a train wreck at 1B.

    Jorge Soler also hit 48 Homeruns for the Royals. Kauffman Stadium is usually always in the top 10 for being pitchers friendly. Large gaps for more Doubles and Triples though.

    This has been something discussed for years but for whatever reason the person who owns the site doesn’t want to do anything about it. It’s probably just better if they don’t want to give the site to someone. A group of people get together and just make a new board or a discord which would be cheaper. Plenty of times I come to this site just to see the discussions and the board is down. It’s kinda sad.
