    Yankees in third place now. What a crazy 5 game swing for them. Hopefully the Rays lose as well.

    A little confused why they didn't just keep Lukes in the leadoff spot. He was a massive spark plug last night.

    It was probably worse than I remember. But yes that was really where the Hoffman implosion happened and he had that brutal stretch after being unhittable in April.

    Angels are better than people think they are. What they do have is a lot of power and that can change a game quickly obviously. But this should be a team they beat although they pummeled us in Anaheim earlier this Season.

    .674 OPS in 145 games last Season for Springer. Almost .900 this Season absurd.

    Just an incredible feeling to sweep the team ahead of you to take over First Place. Even sweeter when it’s the Yankees. George Springer what can you even say. He looked done. Now he’s playing like one of the best Outfielders in Baseball. His resurgence and Barger’s emergence have just elevated this team to another level. Vladdy hasn’t even got hot yet and they did this without Bo. The division is winnable now just go out and get the pieces to secure it.

    Oh I agree 100 percent. I don’t understand why they even play anthems before sporting events. It just opens up unnecessary confrontation.

    Respect and awareness mostly. People need to realize how much of the Blue Jays roster is American. It’s just bad look. As a Canadian living in America. I can tell you a lot of people think a lot of things are foolish. But where that turns is disrespect to the flag and anthem. They don’t care what you think about the President that subject is divided enough.

    I just realized the Jays are hosting the Angels on the 4th of July. We have to pray our fans don’t do the dumbest thing by any booing on their Independence Day. Its also an Apple TV game. These are moments people won’t forgive or forget,

    So Jays are tied for first place in the American League East on July 2nd. Kinda fun! Excited to see who they can add to this group. Need a bat. Need Varsho to get healthy. And obviously another starter or bullpen help would be ideal.

    What's worse getting blow out early. Or coming all the way back... tying the game late only to lose anyway? What would kill your morale more?

    Run differential could have been so much better if they just won 8-0. Shame.

    Well that was certainly an eventful game. Shouldn't have been but it was! Bottom line they won and now are tied for first.

    Blowing an 8-0 lead in a Major League Baseball game is embarrassing but if you can finish this off with a win I guess no harm no foul. Big 9th hopefully Hoff is good.
