    Sounds like we need a new bat order.

    This team really needed a long man so cutting Yarbrough never made any sense. Yariel Rodriguez is way too much of an unknown to be counted on. He was also very bad in Spring.

    Have a feeling Max is going to punch John Scheneider this Season.

    Not a good first inning for Max. But he can buckle down and throw another 4 or 5 scoreless.

    Very nice bounce back win. The difference good pitching makes as well. Looking forward to actually getting to watch the full game tomorrow! Middle of the work week game and an Apple TV game. Got to watch like 2 innings total on my phone so far.

    Gausman looked very good that inning. Wonder if he gets to start the 6th. His pitch count is 85. If it was mid-season I would say no brainer. But it is the first start of the Season.

    Not a good look but as long as its consistent on both sides of the spectrum I don't have a problem with it. Having been living in the US since June for work. Even in Texas the sentiment isn't really negative towards Canada. They do hate the booing of the Anthem which I also don't like but understand why.

    Kind of shocked Barnes even made the team. He didn’t even have a good Spring. If they weren’t going to go with another long man like Yarbrough. Someone like Mason Fluharty made a lot more sense and he actually looked good this Spring.

    Well the good news is it couldn’t have gone any worse and they play again tomorrow. Losing Opening Day usually especially sucks because you often get the scheduled day off.

    Eflin sucks. Game still very winnable. Tyler O’Neil turns into Micky Mantle on Opening Day.

    I literally had to do a double and triple take when I saw him in the cleanup spot. I looked on 3 different apps just to see if the first 2 got it wrong.

    Honestly this is a steal if he stays healthy. Tidy piece of business.

    Playoffs will be easy to make.

    Feel like a few guys have jumped him on the depth chart. Should begin the year in low leverage and work his way back into an important roll. And that all depends if hes actually going to be healthy because the jury is very much out on that as well.

    Either Vladdy and his Agent know something the rest of us don’t know or he’s going to get extremely humbled on the Open Market. That is an absurd figure.
