  1. It's possible. The way scouts rave about him, he sounds like the next Miggy. If Vlad dominates A+, he could simply pass Moncada on merit alone. Scouts are in love with the contact/raw power combo.
  2. Vlad at 2 by midseason is insane. He's going to be #1 by year's end. Not sure what Alford did to fall though. Bo could be top 20 by the fall, if he rakes in A+.
  3. I am, but it's splitting hairs really lol.
  4. It reads like they almost relunctantly put Bo in there. They also "matter-of-factly" stated that Bo's swing will ensure he can't translate his current results to higher levels and may not hit .280.. I guess these scouts will ride their swing critique into the ground.
  5. Unbelievable. She's sticking to it in the face of facts. Feels like a sportsnet commentator..
  6. The lack of K's in his past 2 starts is concerning, though I suppose this is better than tossing meatballs.
  7. Trout for Vlad/Bo++ or Corey Seager.
  8. CF Alford 3B Bichette 1B Vladito LF Eloy Jimenez RF Gurriel Jr SS Warmoth C Jansen DH Tellez 2B Urena Something like this maybe, assuming Vlad and Bo don't stick at their positions? Rotation could be: Stroman Sanchez SRF Romano Pearson We could be looking at this as early as late 2019/early 2020.
  9. He was, now it's time to build a new 20-game hit streak lol.
  10. I wonder if Razzball ranking Bo at 23 is the highest Bo is ranked on any mid-season top 100. He certainly deserves a ranking that high imo.
  11. Gibbons needs to be punched in the throat..
  12. That's so silly lol. Maybe it's time to adjust those.
  13. The only way Gibby stops using Zeke is of he's DFA'd.
  14. I saw that Vlad is starting. I wonder if Bo is?
  15. We have to cherry pick a lot to pull any semblance of good from SRF this season. His K/9 is down, BB/9 way up, FIP way up, HR/9 up, and he seems to be giving up a lot of hard contact. Not sure if he's just regressed bad at this level of competition, if it's a mechanical thing, or even a game-calling problem, but the high performance guys and coaches need to be all over him.
  16. He's probably just tossing his pitches down the middle so he can find his release point and get the right spin rate and arm speed going. I'm sure he'll be fine once he's up here.
  17. Hmm. Yeah, that doesn't sound like how he was advertised. I remember reading that he was someone to look for because he worked in the upper 90s (touched 100) and had a wipeout slider.
  18. How did Chris Smith look?
  19. I mean, I understand what he's saying, but why not continue that defensive progress in high A? The leap in competition can't be all that different?
  20. And that his body just absorbed it and healed on its own with no medical attention needed. He's superhuman.
  21. Bo Bichette - 2/4, 2 SB, 2 DP (defensively). Average day at the office.
  22. Vlad is too when it comes to his personal aspirations. Remember the comments he made just before/after he signed? He said he saw himself as a Miggy Cabrera when he was older, and wanted to beat all of his dad's numbers.
