  1. I don't know about that JD man, you think maybe he needs to be moved down to 8th instead of 6th. Homeboy just ain't ready..
  2. Awesome... Bats better be on tonight or we're f***ed.
  3. Thank God. Without him, we'd being looking at another night like yesterday with Liriano pitching.
  4. I lived there for a couple years and work downtown now. I can probably attest that there is a bit of a rude atmosphere.
  5. Damn. His peripherals are puke-inducing this season. >9 FIP, >6 xFIP, and more BB's than K's with a <4 K/9. Yuk..
  6. Isn't Liriano starting Saturday? Martin has to catch him or psychological meltdown.
  7. Maile also seems to call a damn good game with Estrada, so I don't mind to sacrifice the offense if Marco gets 10+ k's.
  8. Beautiful Post!
  9. You're absolutely right. What's with the topic policing? I love speculation, especially on a forum and especially about our exciting young prospects.
  10. Alford to AAA or back to the majors if Pearce is out for an extended time. Bo and Bradley should move up to A+ with Vlad as a fearsome unit. Jordan Romano has probably earned some consideration for a AA call-up. Pentecost should remain in A+ until he's catching more consistently. We also have Jansen in AA who needs playing time.
  11. 6+ BB/9 and meatball high 4SMs. Votto's going to feast mightily.
  12. Not sure I understand the 2009 Reynolds comparison. He had a 33% K% that season lol. Almost double what Smoak is putting up this season.
  13. We can only hope Spanks, but that .294 BABIP is certainly encouraging! It looks sustainable to me.
  14. http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=9054&position=1B&type=&gds=2016-04-03&gde=2016-05-31&season= Looks like the peripherals were his career norm, so this version of Smoak is nothing we've seen before from him.
  15. Not so much that he couldn't improve, just that there was a decent sample size to suggest it wouldn't happen.
  16. It's a great adjustment! The dude looks like a completely different player.
  17. I didn't look at his peripherals last season in that run, were they like this, or his usual 30% k rate?
  18. He's only got an 18% k rate this season. WTF is going on? What a drastic change in approach and results!
  19. SRF having a great start! I love to see that.
