  1. That's fair but I would rather try and go 2-0 as quick as possible and Stroman matching up against Hamels in game 2 gives us that chance. The prospects of us getting more than 3 runs against Hamels are probably pretty low, while Dickey would be more likely to give up 3-5 runs than Stro.
  2. It likely does man. Texas knows Toronto can't figure out Gallardo so they'd want to roll the dice once more and try and get momentum in their favor, which will happen if they beat Price.
  3. Yep take Pompey please, leave Carrera
  4. I truly hope that he figures things out this off-season, because, if he doesn't, I'd hate to see him win out a spot in our rotation in 2016 pitching like a headcase who floats meatballs down the middle.
  5. JD, Price losing MVP and CY respectively, Eddy failing to get 40 hrs, Buerhle failing to get his 200 innings, BJs losing HFA and having to play the red hot Rangers and both Hamels and Gallardo. That said, we got the AL East Division baby, and we'll still steamroll over the opposition starting Thursday, so no worries .
  6. Figures Hutch would do that, not surprised.
  7. Well you have to blame the defense for this one.
  8. He did a "Sunday Toast" dedicated to batters who don't pimp their homeruns.
  9. Texas has Gallardo, who spit roasts us every time we face him.
  10. If Diaz is eligible I bring him with me instead. Better defender, much more accurate arm, and probably a better hitter.
  11. Stroman is not the 4th best starter and should pitch no later than 3rd to give us the best chance at winning 3 straight to sweep whomever we face in the ALDS.
  12. Pompey completely changed his approach when he was sent down to AA and has kept it since. Now, Pompey is a super high OBP guy with a much lower k-rate, and a high line-drive %. With his new approach, he as a much higher chance at coming in to 2016 and adjusting to the majors like Travis did this year. His ceiling is much higher than both Pillar and Revere and, if he's not traded in the off-season, should 100% start in the MLB OF for us entering 2016.
  13. I watched that to, and completely face palmed when he said it. It's absolutely moronic and it's yet another example of Zaun favoring "vets" over kids regardless of ability.
  14. Zaun really does have a vendetta against Marcus Stroman. He just said his 3 starters in the ALDS would be Price, Dickey, and Estrada hands down..

  16. It's one of the strongest cases for why Molitor should win MOTY.
  17. Not a chance Hawkins is off the roster dude. It will likely be 11 pitchers, with Buerhle in as the 7th BP arm.
  18. I hate the fastball reliance, but nice change there.
  19. Let's start with control first.
  20. More confident than anything. I don't see the issue? http://i0.wp.com/wersm.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/wersm-don-draper.jpg?resize=657%2C360
