  1. Same here. Sanchez in place of Hoff would have been wonderful.
  2. Not sure if posted, but basically Gibby gives 0 f***s about HFA.
  3. The best thing about the past two games, is Pompey is finally getting the chance to play, and he's showing up both Carrera and Gibby in the process. Hopefully this means that if the Jays decide to only bring 1 extra outfielder, Pompey is chosen.
  4. I know, at that rate he may have last 4 innings with 6 runs against, instead of 3 with 7 .
  5. Carrasco is 28, same age Donaldson was when he was traded to us. He also has been in the league since he was 22, and only became good in 2014. Before 2014 he was a bullpen arm with an FIP above 4 every year and K/9 around 6. I think he would cost less than Donaldson, especially considering that his non-peripheral stats are likely going to diminish the fair value that his DIPS suggest he's worth. Also, Hoffman, Norris, and Pompey nearly getting it done at the trade deadline when Cleveland still were competitive, in their minds, means it should cost less in the off-season with 1/2 year less of control attached, and 1/2 year older. With all that said, do you think my offer of Pillar, Sanchez, Pompey, and Greene could actually get it done? I honestly believe it could even cost less given what AA has pulled off in the past.
  6. I would do that in a heart beat, but I doubt that would do it. Damn. Considering what we gave up for Donaldon, would Carrasco cost less or more? Would a package similar to this get it done: Carlos Carrasco for Pillar, Sanchez, Pompey, Greene and Urena
  7. What do you guys think it would take to acquire Carrasco in the off-season? Could we get it done if JD, JB, Edwin, Travis, Stroman, Osuna, Alford, and Vlad Jr are off-limits?
  8. I really hope Zaun is just talking out his ass. It's also too bad that shutting Price down means that they are pretty much gifting Keuchel the Cy Young, unless he combusts in his last start, of course.
  9. I hope that's the case. He needs to change his stance up completely in the off-season, and probably his arm angle as well. He can't control his fastball, let alone command it, and it causes everything to be guided right down Broadway. He would probably lose a lot of his movement and, as a result, his solid k/9, but if it helps him command his pitches low in the zone, it's best for his career imo.
  10. Thanks for the tip bro. I'll get on that! Do you guys think that Hutch will have to compete for the 5th spot next year, regardless of who we bring in, in the off-season? I'm starting to think he won't be gifted anything next year. I mean even his FIP, xFIP, etc are all pretty bad this year, and those don't even account for him throwing meatballs straight down the middle all the time when he's getting rocked.
  11. Man this Trouba guy is ultra annoying. We get it, you want to face the Rangers, just shut up about it..
  12. It seems Mark Lowe scoop slammed Barry Davis onto the ice table, WWE style.
