  1. True and much of it don't affect me, but shapiro does.
  2. But my complain is not about throwing big money around. It was mainly by making move after move that are the same and non home runs moves. And what makes me most iritated is the same propaganda they keep putting out there. As if it is a broken record I guess the problem is me, i developed a Shapiro allergic repulsion.
  3. Valid points, but the way i see it , there is a middle ground. These two are taking the fans for fools and keep putting the same jargon out. You have to try at least, but evey off season its the same crap they feed us
  4. Simple, I beleive winning starts at the top, and all i see from shatkins is excuses and plenty of talk. To be fair i was a big fan of AA, never could stomach of these two. I keep seeing them make moves that if lucky are sideways moves, and do very bad asset management, and not strive to be the best. The jays are not a small market club, yet they made us one. I bring masai, mainly for his comment of "believe in your self, believe in the city" and "you play sports to win, nothing short of this matters"
  5. Nothing short of cloning Masai ujiri and making him run both the jays and the leafs can save these two franchises. Man i cant believe a word they say. Lost complete interest in offseasons since AA left . Still love the jays, as a fan, no one can remove that. but i find the club state sad. Hope i am wrong
  6. When the expos were contenders, the place was packed, and it was a shithole, ran by a shithole owner. Not to same situation here with a strong contender
  7. Front day 1 i said this is a horrible manegemnt group. For people that remember my posts, i am so thankful for the AA firing in hindsight, as i was so emotional and upset i cancelled my season tickets . Then picket up raptors tickets instead. With the year i lived, i thank you from all my heart for hiring the worst management one can think off and for letting me be immature and emotional .
  8. Exactly, as sooner or later, we would need a major league pitching stafff
  9. At least we had a team with a soul, look what we have now.. Now we start the year with both marcus and aaron pitching well, they leak into the media they are trade target, check their performances since then. Even a rebulding team needs an identity. they removed all of that.
  10. What about the donaldson trade?? we mainly gave away fringe prospects for an MVP. Now we are trading and getting crap
  11. Thor was earlier, i was discussing that famous deadline. also we dont know how alex would have handled the excess dollars. but as i fan, i want a winning team and could not care less about the teams finances. As for me, to tell me now the jays are profitable means nothing. i want wins, and these are guys are doing s***. Also the trades for prospects have been horrible, at least alex found many diamonds in the rough
  12. That is a valid point, the flip side , we had a guy who bled the city and the franchise, these two bozo's are disconnected.
  13. I was very very vocal at the time especially on both this and the other jays board., and i even took a decision to cancel my season tickets. And as luck has it, i decided to share a raptors season tickets with a friend. So while i cant stand the shatkins, i am somehow thankful to them, as i will be enjoying a game 7 instead of watching this crap of a team they assembled. But as I real jays fans, still dont understand how we removed a Canadian who took the team to their best result to replace with this crap. And for people who say he traded the farm on that deadline, , please name me one other player that became something from the prospects he let go
  14. feels so much like the smoak contract. Worst case situation it is a fair contract, best case it is a steal. Ok i cursed them earlier and many times before, but this is a good move
  15. Jays starters are projected not to allow a single run all year long. 5 jays Starters projected to be fighting for the cy young. The Shoe maker and the Straw Man are the early favorites for the prestigious Award.
  16. Great happy to learn. So based on your result i am going to train on GTA5.... if anyone asks i blame you
  17. ON espn, they sid if he signs, the blue jays bill gets lowered, dont know it true , but thats what they said
  18. If that happens, would the jays be on the hook? or insurance covers it
  19. I would say it is a swing for the fences trade. Trade a position of strength, for a potential home run .
  20. His improvement curve is very steep, last year, we were wondering if he ever hits the majors, if he continues progressing, he will much better then most of us predict.
  21. Thank you mr scout, you have the kid figured out that fast...who needs to worry about players progressing right?
  22. maybe part of the agreement is not have him play in the Toronto series, so our management can avoid further eggs on their face
  23. Maybe people should introduce them to Mark bergevin in montreal... he would win the honours hands down....though pierre dorion will put up a strong challenge
  24. it could be worst, we could be the montreal canadian and the ottawa senetors
  25. huge difference here ,in oakland he had the future ahead of him now he cant get healthy, and whatever one wants to say, the front office would be insane to want to build around him after he has shown he cant get on the field in two years
