    Cant disagree more, i think the outlook for next year is bad as younger guys are integrated into the lineup, however in 2 years this will be a very exciting upcoming young team

    Well said. People have to realise his value went down by his own doing. NOthing the team could have done to change that. what they did is reduce additional damage and get more then his current value. Houston is getting lots of flack now and they are the champs and one of baseballs best teams, imagine how worst this flack would have been on a rebuilding team, where fans have nothing else to talk about but an abusive player. Like it or not (i do), this is a new reality in our society , look at urban myer, one of college football great, in trouble, not for abusing, but for knowing about an abuse.

    As said above, this management has shown they are willing to buy talent, even while sellers at deadline. Lariano comes to mind, with the prospects comning, then lariano to teoscar trade as well with aoki coming the other way too

    Yea if the package is not solid, with the option, no need to trade him. BUt looking at the history of the deadline , such relievers usually can get a very good haul

    No i said we have blow 5-6 saves since his absence, i am not saying he would have saved them all , but i surely believe we would be much much closer to the WD had the idiot not put his ego ahead of his team and career. keep in mind , this happened mid season so it put many in bulpen out of their natural position and comfort zone.

    I actually see 5 or 6 blown saves, that could have been avoided, add to that 2-3 big losses when news broke out
