Did MLB ever state the reason why the roof was closed? Was the weather in TO a factor? -
i for one am not harping on HFA but on the other hand, i do know that baseball for a long time now is a game of match-ups. Whether we win or lose this series, and i am not conceding anything at this point, Hamels or not, is that the Rangers is a tough match up for us - specifically how essentially they have 2 aces based on how we do against Gallardo. On the other end of the spectrum, you can say we match up well against Yanks and Royals. "Stros are debatable So from a _match up_ point of view, Rangers is not the most ideal... IMO

gibby has some responsibility but also price ... i would think that he would know what 12 day rest would do to him... he should have said something ... keuchel in the post-game said that he feels worst on long rest than 3 day rest

Agreed. I find that there are some decisions by the team that we can debate all we want but it's counter-productive for us fans to take it too far. I think this is one of them.. BTW, brilliant quote the other night on the "man and bum and eclair" quote. I went back to watch it and it actually came from the same episode. Never amazes me that just when you think you know the show, you run across somebody with crazier knowledge ...
