There is no doubt that Revere is not the ideal lead-off guy; don't walk enough, doesn't work the count, etc - there are much better ones out there. The only thing I was reacting to was associating OPS with Revere We are closer to agreeing than you may think

the royals and their "stars' never looked good on papers; call them lucky, capitalizing on people's mistake, whatever they'll do this to team. With the 'stros this year and the A's last year what i am sure the jays will take back to TO is that the royals didn't beat them; they weren't the better team; they'll be ready when they come back to TO; for them to go thru what they did in Texas, this is way too little for them to roll over on

it's actually quite entertaining; some of these people were probably telling everyone "i love you man" after game 5 and will do the same when we win this series... since i actually have some faith in humanity, i chalk this up to emotions rather than this is how people really think

so this is the team that Yanks took 2 out of 3 from late in the season when we needed/wanted them to sweep or at least win the series ... interesting... good luck against the cubbies
