    The Athletics have some interesting young players that I'm intrigued to watch. I just hope they don't shine while they're in town. They were playing some pretty good baseball to start the season and then fell off a cliff. Hopefully we're not the cure for all the ails them.

    Well if you love pitching, that's series was for you. I would give them a pass on how terrible they looked offensively given the pitching they faced but it's kind of how they've looked most of the season anyway. We also got into their bullpen early yesterday and did approximately dick against it. Take the series win and gladly on to the next one.

    Pitching matchup favours them easily. Then again both these teams don't score much. If I'm a betting man, I stay far away from this game.

    Crap we had an early game?! I was looking forward to this matchup. Oh it was Memorial Day. Damn it!

    Is it really that strange? Isn't this always how it is with Tampa?

    Yep, pound-for-pound they have been the most difficult franchise the Blue Jays have ever dealt with. It doesn't matter if they're doing well or even if they've been struggling, they see a Jays Jersey and they go off.

    I wonder if, when the Rays look at the schedule and see the Jays, they all collectively giggle.

    I'd love to say it's bad luck but we always do that against Tampa Bay. They're always positioned exactly where they need to be and we always hit it exactly where they are.

    Does Straw actually believe he can do anything hitting the ball in the air to right field? He does this way too much. Espinal used to do that s*** too.

    Blue Jays currently at a -145 run differential all time versus Tampa. Tied with Boston for second worse all time versus any team, in obviously far fewer games. Second only to the Yankees (-261) So yes, perception is reality when it comes to Toronto versus Tampa Bay all time. The Rays can grab sole possession of second place today.

    Depends which Berrios shows up. Vladdy is a minor league ballpark king so hopefully he hits one out. Just give us a competitive game against these f***s.

    Just making up lies now I see. Maybe I should do the same to you and see how you like it. They're drafting and development has been tremendous but their failure to augment their young talent has been atrocious. I argued a couple of years ago when they made their big turnaround that they shouldn't waste great years assuming that there will be more to come, like the 2021 Jays, they should have made trades and added some big names to their roster at the deadline. Sometimes the first year of your window is the best opportunity you're going to get. They're f***ing up with should not be f***upable.

    He at one point showed the ability to have a similar profile. But the offensive part of his game has since been fleeting.

    Literally just pointed out an actual fact and you still feel the need to be an actual ass. I didn't even say we're going to lose this game I just said if we do that's the silver lining.

    Clase needs to know where the defenders are playing, he would have known that was easily through the hole and scored. Lukes was just out to lunch on that. Cost us the lead in this inning. f*** I hate mental mistakes.
