  1. I was for the Green contract, I was wrong.
  2. About that Horwitz second base experiment...
  3. Sped up his bat with fastballs and beat him with fastballs and then gave him a cookie for some reason. Terrible sequence in my opinion.
  4. I can absolutely live with him anywhere from 6-9 in the order, if he's any higher to start next season it's a bad sign for the offensive construction of this team.
  5. I don't think either have shown enough yet to be completely sold, I've always liked Horwitz though, he at least deserves an inside track and real opportunity at this point. As for Wagner, I wouldn't pencil him into next year's plans, but I make sure to keep a path open for him to be in the plans if he continues to show out.
  6. None of that changes the fact that he's a f***ing idiot for taking a banned substance. I have little hope for people that are genuinely stupid.
  7. f***ing idiot. I'd rather not have to have heard his name again this season.
  8. Not that I'm necessary advocating for your plan but if that's what you had in mind, why not Soto and Bregman and trade Vlad? Does that not make us a much better team because of the return on Vlad?
  9. You started off poorly by not saying "Brownie and I", but redeemed yourself with the proper use of an apostrophe at the end.
  10. If Yariel could stick as a starter it would be valuable at least to start the season. I don't think we should invest more money in starting pitching until we know what we have next year.
  11. Yeah but who would you want to run it back with? I really don't care for most of the guys in our current bullpen. I'd like to see three or four new faces next year.
  12. I don't know if it's the most depressing, I don't have the heart to go through all the stats, it's certainly a turd bag in the dumpster fire that is the 2024 season.
  13. Solid outing by Francis. Probably closer to what we can reasonably expect from him than what he had been doing previously. It would be big if he sticks.
  14. No Devers against Boston, Cubs are only okay. Orioles, one start was pretty good the other was average. I'm not knocking him, but there is some voodoo going on here. Nonetheless, this will be a good test.
  15. The Phillies should prove to be a very good test for Bowden's Voodoo magic.
  16. Amazing how good teams overcome the excuses. We've actually been pretty lucky with injuries the last few seasons compared to other teams.
  17. Really going out on a limb with that pick.
  18. Yes the completely unproven nonsense of innings limits. Let's hope to God he doesn't throw 101 lest his arm explode.
  19. They are f***ing hideous. I mean I can't stand the Jays' ones either but these are no good. Jerseys are actively getting uglier because people think they're smarter and more creative than they actually are.
  20. I'm still bitterly disappointed that Pop didn't plunk his ass in the 9th.
  21. I voted fringe pitcher on behalf of Taylor Ward.
  22. He'll be on the IL with a forearm strain tomorrow, TJ surgery incoming. Still worth going for the no no.
  23. If you build a truly talented team with few weaknesses, that's all you can do. If you put together a good pitching staff with a f***ing putrid offense, for instance, you haven't built s***.
  24. Does anybody practice it? f***, it's actually embarrassing. Dave Winfield lays down a beauty in the 9th inning of a World Series, on astroturf, and these f***ing fringe players can't lay one down in a nothing game in a lost season.
