  1. It's crazy how Chapman needs to average 101 mph on his fastball to not be a washed up journeyman. Most guys can manage to pitch with 98-99.
  2. Split up your lefthanded batters. Schneider played the Royals matchups like a fiddle.
  3. The crew chief is older than Joe Biden.
  4. Garcia needs to wipe that tack off his jersey lol.
  5. Rendon put his hands on a fan. If this happened in the NBA or NFL the entire league would grind to a halt.
  6. Pop has pitched in like every game this season, brought in to face consecutive lefties. The starting pitching and bullpen construction set him up to fail.
  7. Next they'll push him into a 2nd inning where he'll give up a 2 run HR lol.
  8. Allowing 3 baserunners and striking out the side is the most Richards inning ever.
  9. How the f*** did Kiermaier get to 3rd lol.
  10. With nobody out, they were gonna do damage no matter what. This is on Garcia.
  11. Defense playing way too up the middle the entire game IMO.
  12. https://assets.sbnation.com/assets/1270041/SierraStopSign.gif.opt.gif Fixed your post
  13. I'm with Rivera there. A good throw has a chance to nail him.
  14. To be fair to Mayza those weren't bad pitches.
  15. Thompson has a nasty curveball.
  16. Atkins sounds like the kind of guy who has a limp handshake.
  17. We need a Bichette spray chart for throws.
  18. Gurriel would've thrown home. Teoscar would've thought the inning was over and handed the ball to a fan.
  19. Bichette is going to be absolutely exposed this season with the shift rule.
  20. Bichette already in midseason form.
  21. Kirk looks to be in better shape this year.
  22. I would love to see even more righty protection around Varsho (2 RHB ahead and 2 RHB behind). Basically make it as difficult as possible for the manager to bring in a lefty just for Varsho. The way the lineup is constructed today you can bring in a lefty to face Varsho-Kirk-Belt.
  23. Right now I think they need to sit back and see who takes a step forward during the season. If you get rid of Espinal you lose your backup SS and best lefty masher. If you get rid of Merrifield you're exposing Kiermaier and Varsho to a lot of left handed pitching. Biggio is your best option against righties.
