    Regarding the pitching situation, barring a trade or signing this one seems easy to me. Swanson is back, with Sandlin and Garcia likely returning soon also. Fisher leads the entire team in xFIP. Schultz and Lauer have performed. Meanwhile, our rotation currently has 3 MLB calibre starters. Turnbull is still throwing 88 mph slop to minor leaguers. Between Turnbull Manoah and Scherzer, old man Scherzer is by far the closest which tells you everything you need to know. If Sandlin and Yimi come back, start stretching out one or both of Lauer and Yariel for major innings. They're really the only guys with a starter's repertoire. If Scherzer's arm holds up we can decide what to do with the 5th slot afterwards

    Putting on my strategy hat, run out Fisher or Urena for the bottom of the order, then ride Lauer for a while. Who knows what Atkins told Schneider to do though

    Clase and Lukes absolutely deserve PAs over Roden. Calling up Schneider to ride the bench and face some lefties would've made more sense to me.
