  1. Lol --> http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=110&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=12,d
  2. Hindsight is 20/20 but even without Syndergaard it's a bad trade. By the end of this year d'Arnaud may have already out-WAR'd Dickey in his time with the Mets. Not to mention d'Arnaud and Syndergaard could have saved the Blue Jays $119M (Martin + Dickey's contracts). Not to mention years of control. Not to mention we have to carry this otherwise useless catcher in Thole.
  3. There's no turning point son, it's just a one-game winning strike. We're already the best offense in baseball and we can't even play .500 baseball.
  4. He should probably just get used to it. He's on the Blue Jays now.
  5. Blow it up, this season is a wash.
  6. Dude, that was totally lame.
  7. Looks like the original operation was a failure.
  8. I stand corrected, I assumed that was the case but I guess not.
  9. With a couple decent starters this is a play-off team. But not now, the SP is trash.
  10. Probably intentionally changing speeds, he hasn't really lost velocity, and K% still there http://www.fangraphs.com/pitchfx.aspx?playerid=6893&position=P&pitch=FA
  11. Yeah, but they needed to be bad for years to finally get good. After that some excellent FO and drafting kept them afloat.
  12. You can buy a team or you can be bad for years... the Astros are the later... the Rays were the later... the Blue Jays managed to find some kind of purgatory that will get them no where.
  13. This just means there's some regression, probably both ways.
  14. Projections say they their offense is just slightly better than the Jays: Dodgers 22.7 WAR Blue Jays 21.1 WAR
  15. Basically, but I don't think the bullpen is bad (as it has been)... 5-6 of the guys are fully capable of being effective. Osuna Cecil Delabar Loup Hendriks Maybe even Castro when he comes back. Copeland probably not, but maybe. They should bring Hynes back and replace this ******** Francis as a loogy. But the starters are s***. Buehrle is getting worse. Dickey is getting worse. Hutch looks worse. Estrada is not going to be good. Sanchez is f***ing trash. Nope, we're not making any play-offs with that s*** rotation.
  16. It's sad man. The division is not going to be this weak for long. The Blue Jays aren't going to have a top offense for long. What a waste.
  17. Usually you can rely on your pitching staff to get you some wins.... the Blue Jays not so much.
  18. Dude, use career stats at least.
  19. Neg. Career: vs L .238 vs R .308 Did you actually just look at one month (13 IP) of stats instead of career numbers???
  20. Dodgers ---> $278,804,880 Blue Jays ---> $128,352,310
  21. Thanks Loup you f***! I'm normally a proponent of Gibbons as a strategist but lately he's gone bonkers. Loup should be used as a LOOGY ONLY, particularly in tight games....... holy f***! Valencia should never ever be facing righties, ever, ever, ever, not once, not twice, not ever.......... NEVER.
  22. f***ing awful pitcher is awful. Just noticed Mark Buehrle has the lowest SwStr% in all of baseball (qualified)... I know it's not his thing to miss bats but it's well below his career numbers. I imagine a 3mph loss in FB velocity will do that.
  23. Did Sanchez even have a single SwStr tonight? For the love of god can people stop saying he has "great stuff" now? He throws hard, his stuff sucks. Hence the low K%, hence the low SwStr%.
  24. 7 IP 9 K 0 ER and Mets may be about to lose... lol Edit: Yup, based loaded walk walk-off!
