No Detroit lost big time... Gose is batting .314 on .500 BABIP... so he's probably going to be batting around the Mendoza line come June-July. He's a great defensive replacement / PR... but that's about it.

It's a small sample but he looks really good at the plate. Just based on his plate discipline and ability to make contact you can tell he's going to be an effective hitter at the very least.
