So we are 4-4 since FYSMC, with some depressing 1-run losses along they... guess it wasn't the catalyst we were all hoping for... but perhaps a corner is being turned nonetheless.
I subscribe to the opposite approach - an "unsufferable windbag" as you so eloquently labelled him does not deserve any of my time and energy, in fact I've already wasted enough of it in this thread.
Commenting on the fact that I can rarely go through a page of posts without reading some Wilner hate doesn't make me related to Wilner.
I'm also fairly certain most of you have called in at one point and made to look stupid, despite your knowledge of baseball being far superior.
About the same time everyone was bragging about how ridiculous the Dodgers line-up is they went on to score a whopping 9 runs in the next 8 games, and they're at it again tonight with 1-run through 6 innings...
The pitching has come around, but admittedly it has done so vs. s***ing or slumping offenses. Too bad the offense wasn't going during a few of those 1-run games =/
Even projections have his bat as above average now, and that's being modest IMO. Maybe not worthwhile for his defense but would make a nice pinch hitter.
