    This seems like way too much hoping and praying for me. Jim I really hope Tulo puts up a 5-6 WAR season, while playing stellar defense this year.

    I think they are getting down to their last 5-10 percent of their budget. My guess would also be that Shapiro/Atkins/LaCava are spending each and every minute helping the two new guys become familiar with all the Players they have in the System. I think King's GIF was saying you had a Eureka! moment.

    This I cannot argue. If he represented me, maybe he would have convinced my body that I had talent enough to be a major league ball player. He also maybe could have convinced my find to play hardball instead of fastball, lol. Best case scenario of fastball....some amateur competition for your country, and an after game beer fund for $2/beer.

Anyone want to bet that Howard Berger's source was from Scott Boras' media relations department. Any discussions between the Jays and Boras, was started by Boras.

    I would guess they are hoping Peraza is a better replacement for Phillips than Renda. It must have been a slow day when the discussion is DV's weight room workout.

    If he spends more than 45 MLB days (not games) of the total 180 MLB days suspended, he will not qualify for free agency until after 2017 season.

    If he get's suspended for more than 45 days, the Yankees get an extra year of service time! This could be a very big bonus actually for them.

    MLB.com has Harris at 80 and Alford at 97 as there only two in the top 100. So I guess there could be an argument made for 4-5. (Alford, Greene, SRF and Harris (very questionable).

    Have you ever watched the Read-Option Offense run in College? Arm strength is not the most important. Foot speed, strength, throwing accuracy,decision making and toughness are equally as important or more important than arm strength. Arm Strength is far down the list of skills necessary in some of the offenes run in College.

    Not to state the obvious, but someone may object to two first baseman. I think that is potentially the best line up though, switching in and out Colabello and Smoak as well. This also makes the rather large assumption Travis and Saunders are healthy.
