Ohhhhhh baby! Vlad was flyin' -
How about Davis Schneider? What a rebound season. What an incredible player.
-
I can appreciate that. But be clear - I didn't want IKF, but I understand the decision. It obviously sucks balls he screws up the one thing he's in there to do. Sometimes the baseball gods have a way of evening it out. Maybe he does something important later in the game.
-
well done Ern!
-
You're so mentally unhinged. It's sad.
-
Would you STFU?
-
Brutal - that was a good pitch too.
-
C'mon IKF
-
That's about as good as the top of the 1st inning can go.
-
To be fair - you have no idea what numbers the nerds are using or why this decision was made. Would it kill you to put some faith in the team that had the best record in the AL this year and who's 2-0 in the playoffs?
-
I was saying this to my wife the other day. As much as I obviously prefer/love when the dome is open, it is so much more comforting knowing they can close it if the weather sucks. I can't imagine travelling 2+ hours to a game with my kid, only for the game to get cancelled and having to try and re-schedule the whole trip again. I actually had this happen when I went to NYC (pre-kids) and we had to drive back and use up our (expensive) tickets about a year later.
-
Same, although I can see them prioritizing defense over offense with Bieber on the mound.
-
Do they flip flop which league gets the extra day off each year? ie, next year, the AL will get the extra day off to stagger the games and thus that little advantage changes from the NL to the AL every other year?
-
That was wild - crazy he got away with it. What is wrong with Treinen? Just location? His velo and movement looks normal to me.
-
Freddie Freeman saves the day. Edman throws him a lawn dart and he picks it. What an incredible player.
-
Why does the NLDS get an extra day off? Just to offset the games on TV?

General Blue Jays Discussion Thread (2025)
Brownie19 replied to Ryu In My House's topic in Toronto Blue Jays Talk
Stumbled across this today and thought it was interesting. -
The Yesavage interview - talking about his parents and the videos of his Dad wiping away the tears during the game absolutely broke me. I couldn't even being to imagine the emotions that family is going through right now. Watching their son in front of 44K people, doing things very few pitchers have ever done before. It's special stuff. I feel so happy for them all.
-
This is all I have after watching Yesavage carve up the Yankees in one of the best games every pitched in a Blue Jays uniform...
-
Sorry I wasn't on here for the game boys. Big W. Huge. I'm going to go back and read this thread tonight.
-
Yikes - fastball to Judge's wrist.
-
Not really? Jazz squared it up, but they are finding holes and now that defense lets him down. Feel bad for him. He looks like he has a big future.
-
Poor kid is getting BABIP'd to death.
-
wow - little seeing eye single. It's wild that Amed Roserio is starting for the Yankees
-
These 2 young pitchers are really good.
